After a particle accelerator causes a freak storm, CSI Investigator Barry Allen is struck by lightning and falls into a coma. Months later he awakens with the power of super speed, granting him the ability to move through Central City like an unseen guardian angel. Though initially excited by his newfound powers, Barry is shocked to discover he is not the only “meta-human” who was created in the wake of the accelerator explosion — and not everyone is using their new powers for good. Barry partners with S.T.A.R. Labs and dedicates his life to protect the innocent. For now, only a few close friends and associates know that Barry is literally the fastest man alive, but it won’t be long before the world learns what Barry Allen has become…The Flash.

This will be awful. Flash is arguably the most powerful superhero alongside Supes and GL and he's getting the CW Smallville treatment. It's like they just grabbed some skinny nerdy high schooler and threw him in red costume, oh wait that's Spiderman. For the sake of comic book Barry Allen fans, I hope this gets cancelled quick. Arrow has some good going and I pray they keep this silly version of Flash away from it.

It's possible the show will have a lot of dark scenes to save on the cgi budget, similar to Pacific Rim.

Still not too big on the costume. But the show looks good so far. For me, looks like a great lead-in before AoS. Tuesdays are gonna be fun.

looks great so far! I was a little skeptical when i saw the pics but it looks great in action from what we've seen.

They add little changes to make things fresh and different in tv and movies, is it really such a big deal that he looks younger or a little skinnier than he is in the comics? Grant looks great as The Flash in my eyes. As long as he has the characteristics and qualities that makes The Flash the great hero that we know and love from the comics, then i'm down with this shxt 100%

So far, alot of the images i've seen if Barry Allen, he's wearing some sort of red attire. Like Power Rangers wear their civilian clothes to match the colour of their costumes. Please don't do that CW. Roy kinda gets away with it cuz it's the same red hoodie he's wearing over & over. But please don't do that to Barry

Yeah... I'm hopin that season 3 he develops into the wise-cracking Green Arrow from the comics. But he would still have alot on his plate to still be brooding though. Still dealing with his mother's death probably... Tryin to regain the company... Definitely what they're gonna do with Thea's arc is enough to keep him sulky... Hopefully Barry's influence is what makes him more wise-cracking

I dig the new flash look, but i 10000% do not want to see the CW heroes in the Man of Steel/Batfleck movies. If Flash or arrow shows up, I don't want to see the CW versions. I want to see Zach Snyder or newer takes on the heroes. To me Green Arrow and the Flash from the show feel to safe for the movies.

Maybe it is just me but I totally dislike this costume. The upper portion looks like one of those half leather half wool sweaters that were popular in the early 90's and it is way too loose for a speedster. Not trying to go fanboy on this but I only like the headpiece. The color is too dark as well

for tv I don't mind the suit- if it were the movie suit meh. But hey we probably aren't getting Flash on the big screen because I have recently noticed that with so many casting rumors etc for Batman vs Superman and Justice League....we have had possible candidates for Aquaman, Manhunter, Darkseid,Shazam,Lobo...we have Cyborg,Wonder Woman- yet no Flash rumors...no possible actors for Flash. Momoa, Holloway, The Rock- none fit Flash. I'm scared Flash isn't going to be in JUSTICE LEAGUE.

They are never going to mix CW DC and WB DC movie universe. The CWDC is like a cheap version of the movies. the characters, the plot lines, the acting etc is all tv quality and can never cross into movies. Now, I love the arrow show but why the hell would i want all that CW drama to cross into the real world movies. i much rather they use the cw platform to bring new dc superheroes to life and get people acquainted to them. hence they would warm up to movie versions of these characters. cross over? NEVER!!
