Katie Cassidy Is The Black Siren In New Sneak Peek At Tonight's New FLASH Episode

Katie Cassidy's Laurel Lance may have died on Arrow but that doesn't mean Cassidy can't cause a little havoc as her Earth-2 counterpart, Black Siren. Her 'Canary Cry' is sure giving Barry some trouble. UPDATE

If all the good guys are evil over on Earth-2, does that mean that all the bad guys are heroes? Is there are a version of Manu Bennett's Deathstroke that saves cats from trees and pulls people from burning buildings? Likewise, is there a version of Malcolm Merlyn that's actually protecting Star City instead of trying to destroy it? We saw a version of this with Michael Rowe's Floyd Lawton, who was a Central City police officer on Earth-2. Perhaps the key to defeating Zoom will be gathering the heroic versions of the Rogues?

So many questions but with only two episodes, we'll probably not have a lot of answers, at least not this season.

UPDATE: 2nd Clip added via The CW.

KATIE CASSIDY GUEST STARS AS BLACK SIREN – After Zoom (guest star Teddy Sears) unleashes an army of Earth-2 meta-humans on Central City, Barry (Grant Gustin) is shaken when he sees their leader is the Black Canary’s Earth-2 doppelganger, the Black Siren (guest star Katie Cassidy). Meanwhile, Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) takes to the streets to help The Flash stop the meta-humans, which worries Joe (Jesse L. Martin). Iris (Candice Patton) and Henry (guest star John Wesley Shipp) are concerned about Barry taking on Zoom. Jesse Warn directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kreisberg and teleplay by Brooke Roberts & David Kob.

@MrPositive - Not to sound like a broken record, but they need to get these writers involved in the movies. Outside the comics, DC Animation has always gotten these characters the best.

These kind of shows never learn. A Character doesn't work and then show finally moves on from them but because maybe they are well liked behind the scenes or have some name recognition they keep trying to find ways to bring them back. See Grant Ward on SHIELD or Fish Mooney on Gotham.

@xDeathStroke - funniest thing i've seen all day!

I wish this Canary...I mean Siren could spinoff into a Birds of Prey series. Hopefully whatever DC has planned for the character tops this.
