New Featurette For THE FLASH Released; Shooting "Fastest Man Alive"

The second episode of The Flash was even better than the pilot, and in this new featurette for "Fastest Man Alive", Tom Cavanagh (who may or may not be the small screen version of the villainous Reverse-Flash) talks about the challenges of shooting Multiplex on The CW series. Check it out!

BARRY HAS FUN WITH HIS NEW POWERS BUT A SETBACK MAKES HIM QUESTION HIS ABILITY TO BE A HERO — Barry (Grant Gustin) escorts Iris (Candice Patton) to a university gathering honoring scientist Simon Stagg (guest star William Sadler). When six gunmen storm the event, Barry changes into The Flash and tries to stop them. While he does save a man’s life, he passes out before he can capture the robbers, which frustrates him. As Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) scramble to find out what’s wrong with Barry, Joe (Jesse Martin) comes down hard on Barry for taking the law into his own hands and risking his life. Barry realizes that it wasn’t six gunmen but a metahuman named Danton Black (guest star Michael Christopher Smith), who can make multiples of himself. Meanwhile, Iris becomes even more intrigued by the “red streak.” David Nutter directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kreisberg and teleplay by Andrew Kreisberg & Geoff Johns.

Nice! This is my favorite superhero show right now. At least until Ra's Al Ghul appears on Arrow.

Episode 3 has Ronnie Raymond in it. Flash is only ramping it up.

OFF TOPIC

Apparently an April Fools Joke has become legitimate. The AT&T "Batman" Building in Nashville will double as Wayne Tech. My best friends mom works their and said she signed releases for it.

Multiplex looked like Tom Cruise. When I saw the character I thought of "Oblivion".

Cloned clothing could make millions over night, but gun cloning creates a billion dollar arms race! Too bad he had to get the whole revenge thing out of the way first.

Also glad to see they examine things like metabolism for Barry. But in the same episode you create several clones from nothing. It would be just as probable that he reabsorb them and get huge. Then he'd be Megaplex!!

I was so sure this show was going to suck.
Sometimes it's good to be wrong. This show rocks so far.

So is Harris Professor Zoom from the future?

@sonofodin25

Wells is killing people. Zoom is obsessed with Barry and the Flash. Zoom is a result of the Flash. So naturally Zoom would be protecting Barry at this stage.

How did I know this show was going to suck? Guess I have to be a fanboy to enjoy it. Was really hoping for a solid Flash series. Hopefully Marvel steps it up with Daredevil next year. So far both Marvel and DC are terrible at coming up with good tv shows. =/

Ezra is gonna be the shit. But I have a feeling that when they did the announcements, it was more of a redundancy move. To make sure that the Flash project lives on regardless of what happens to the TV show, may it be cancelled due to poor ratings etc...

But the real question is... Is Ezra Miller's Barry the exact same Barry as Grant Gustin???

the only thing on this show so far that i dont like is when his mask is off, how big the hood part is behind him, there is no way that is how it would look. where did the chin peace go, why is it suddenly so big. just like spidey's shirt in comics is always a turtle neck design, unless it is under his street cloths and they need to do the superman shirt open shot, then all the sudden it is a normal crew neck shirt. you dont get to change physics of cloths, human bodies and super power's yes, cloths... i dont buy it.

Still not as good as Arrow, more on par with AOS's first season. Bad casting, bad effects, tired tropes, and a baggy suit that makes him look eve more scrawny. The thing that pissed me off the most, literally 5 [frick]ing people know he's the Flash by the end of the FIRST episode WTF?!? Hopefully it will pick up some steam and get better much like Arrow did.

How about a Booster Gold TV show? Or a Static Shock?! Either of those would definitely make my day!

The best thing about Ezra Miller? Watching Netman react whenever his name is mentioned! :)
