The Flash on Sky1

After a particle accelerator causes a freak storm, CSI Investigator Barry Allen is struck by lightning and falls into a coma. Months later he awakens with the power of super speed, granting him the ability to move through Central City like an unseen guardian angel. Though initially excited by his newfound powers, Barry is shocked to discover he is not the only “meta-human” who was created in the wake of the accelerator explosion — and not everyone is using their new powers for good. Barry partners with S.T.A.R. Labs and dedicates his life to protect the innocent. For now, only a few close friends and associates know that Barry is literally the fastest man alive, but it won’t be long before the world learns what Barry Allen has become…The Flash.

Starring Grant Gustin as Barry Allen, The Flash will premiere on October 7th! The pilot was well-received after being shown at this year's San Diego Comic-Con (as well as by fans who managed to get their hands on a leaked copy a little while before that), and with Captain Cold, Firestorm and more all coming to Central City, this one will be well worth keeping an eye on!

Only two villains in Arrow? It's had Merlyn, Deathstroke, Count Vertigo (who's being reimagined for season 3 and made more like his comic book self), Clock King (who's coming back on Flash), Constantine Drakon, Deadshot, Bronze Tiger, China White, Royal Flush Gang, Blackhawk, Dollmaker, Shrapnel, Brother Blood, Amanda Waller, Firefly, Solomon Grundy, and is about to bring in Ra's al Ghul and Cupid. Even if you mean primary villains, he still had more than two primaries.

And yes, Flash has the 2nd best rogues gallery outside of Batman. Weather Wizard, Heat Wave, Captain Cold, Gorilla Grodd, Mirror Master, Top, Trickster, Captain Boomerang, Reverse Flash are all incredibly fun to read in the comics. Even Spider-Man doesn't have quite a fun collection, and Superman's gallery is marred by the fact that all battles, especially in the past 30 years, were irrelevant and lacking in drama considering he became immune to Kryptonite and magic and started kicking planets into other solar systems for fun.

Also, for those trolls complaining about Weather Wizard's depiction on Flash and the lack of motivation...you do know that's not THE Weather Wizard, right? It was clearly stated that it was the real guy's brother. The real Weather Wizard will come soon enough.

Bender must not realize that DC updated Barrys origins before the New 52 to where Reverse Flash killed Barrys mom. Either that....or he's dumb.

Also, The Rouges are some of the best supervillains out there. Definitely my favorite supervillain team with the Sinister Six and Suicide Squad taking a close second and third.

Gotta say I was not impressed with the pilot episode. And i was really looking forward to it. It was cheesy. They really shouldve just given Flash a great theatrical film. But hey its WB, one poor decision after another
