The Flash has drawn a mixed response from moviegoers, but everyone seems to agree that Michael Keaton's return as Batman is hard to fault.

When the two Barry Allens track Bruce Wayne down, he's retired and no longer needs to protect Gotham City. It's the safest city in America thanks to the Dark Knight's past actions, but when he decides to suit up again, we see some of the many Batsuits the vigilante has worn over the years.

Comic book artist Joe Quinones was hired to create some of those alternate Batsuits and reveals he used Kenner's Batman action figure like from the 1990s which commercialised Tim Burton's gothic vision for the iconic DC Comics superhero.

There are some terrific designs here, many of which didn't make it into the final cut of The Flash. Check them out below!

Worlds collide in The Flash when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to.

That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian...albeit not the one he's looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry's only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?

The movie stars Ezra Miller, Sasha Calle, Michael Shannon, Ron Livingston, Maribel Verdu, Kiersey Clemons, Antje Traue, and Michael Keaton.

The Flash is now playing in theaters.
