THE FLASH: First Look At Adam Stafford As 'Geomancer'

Here we have an interesting batch of snaps from the Vancouver set of the CW's The Flash, featuring the likes of Killer Frost and Deathstorm in action; and also our first glimpse of Aussie actor Adam Stafford as DC Comics supervillian, Geomancer. Take a look...

Thanks to CanadaGraphs, we have the following images from the set of The Flash, where episode 14 (and possibly tonight's episode 13, "Welcome To Earth-2") were recently being filmed.

In addition to new looks at Killer Frost, Deathstorm, Earth-2 Barry Allen and a pretty cool looking statue of Jay Garrick, we get our first glimpse of actor Adam Stafford as earth-manipulating baddie, Geomancer. It seems he'll be joining up with the lethal lovers to cause even more problems for our Earth-1 heroes.

Barry (Grant Gustin), Wells (Tom Cavanagh) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) journey to Earth-2 to rescue Wells’ daughter, Jesse (guest star) from Zoom. Barry is stunned when he runs into Earth-2 Iris (Candice Patton) and Joe (Jesse L. Martin), but nothing prepares him for meeting Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) and Deathstorm (guest star Robbie Amell). Meanwhile, back on Earth-1, Jay (guest star Teddy Sears) has to take over the Flash’s responsibilities when a meta-human nicknamed Geomancer (guest star Adam Stafford) attacks Central City. Millicent Shelton directed the episode written by Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kreisberg and Katherine Walczak.

CW really needs to get more variety in their superhero costumes. Aside from a few like the Atom, its all leather jackets with some straps here and there. It looks good on some, like Geomancer up there, but on others, like Killer Frost, its pretty lame. Why not have her wearing an outfit made out of ice(Fake ice obviously)? That would really make her stand out among the rest of these guys as unique.

@Toonstrack - Have you ever considered that these shows are on CW which is not a very large network and getting all these costumes made is very expensive? And throwing in the costs of the actors, food, crew, and special effects is not cheap.

So yes maybe leather costumes is the only way to go.

@Toonstrack - I'm not saying its cheap, but if DC's gonna commit to this TV universe, then they need to commit. And you CANNOT have everyone running around in the same style of leather jacket and calling them 'superhero costumes'. You just can't. Also, like I said, some characters have avoided that, such as Deathstroke, White Canary's suit and Atom. Besides, I've seen COSPLAY with more quality put into the suits, so that budget thing is kinda moot.

@Toonstrack - Not disagreeing with you, but you would sh!t yourself to know how much some of those cosplay costumes cost...

@Talontd

I probably would. But fans should never be able to make something look better than a studio funded TV show IMO. Like I said, DC needs to commit. These shows on CW are doing wonders for the network and DC. They need to give them a higher budget so they can get to the real nitty gritty with the special effects and costumes. Look at AOS, whose special effects are pretty great for the most part. Most of the costumes don't suck either.
