The Flash's world premiere just finished up at CinemaCon, and those in attendance have been sharing their initial reactions to Twitter.

This movie has been majorly hyped up by those who caught earlier screenings (and by the studio), with some hailing it as the "greatest superhero film of all time." Do these reactions follow suit? Actually, for the most part, yes!

Some are a little less hyperbolic (including our own Rohan Patel's), but it does sound like WBD/DC Studios has a potentially major hit on their hands... as long as they can navigate the Ezra Miller situation!

We're still adding the Tweets as they come in, but take a look at what we have below.

"Directed by Andy Muschietti, The Flash features Barry Allen traveling back in time in order to change events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to help. That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian…albeit not the one he’s looking for.

Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?"

The Flash is produced by Barbara Muschietti and Michael Disco, with a screenplay by Christina Hodson, an a screen story by John Francis Daley & Jonathan Goldstein and Joby Harold, based on characters from DC. Warner Bros. Pictures presents a Double Dream/a Disco Factory production of an Andy Muschietti film.

The Flash will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures and is set to open in theaters in North America on June 16, 2023 and internationally beginning 14 June 2023.

Nice. I hope the hype continues. I always root for a good CBM. Its great for the genre when it's well recieved by critics and audiences alike - even better if I end up liking it too!

Supposedly the mom of that underage girl saw it and forgave Ezra Miller immediately. That's what Q-Anon said.

I think the Andy Muschietti rumor to direct Brave an the Bold could be true. Maybe Gunn is in awe and doesn't want to let Muschietti go.

in retrospect it's kind of insane that Ezra Miller destroyed their career right before they got the best notices of their career in what will surely be a blockbuster hit

After what everyone said prior to this being screened, this isn't surprising. The confidence everyone showed in this pointed to a great film

Part of me is getting hyped, but the other half has read far too many “It’s the best movie since The Dark Knight!” reviews from these same reviewers for some pretty mediocre movies that they were invited to see early.

@santoanderson -
I was one of them. In our defense, we were all high on cocaine when watching the 2016 Ghostbusters movie
