THE FLASH Season 1, Episode 19 Description; "Who is Harrison Wells?"

There's not long to go until the season finale of The Flash, and it appears as if more of the questions surrounding the Reverse-Flash WILL be answered in "Who is Harrison Wells?" The episode will also feature another Arrow crossover as well as the debut of Everyman...

JOE AND CISCO TRAVEL TO STARLING CITY FOR ANSWERS ABOUT DR. WELLS — Joe(Jesse L. Martin) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) head to Starling City to continue their investigation ofDr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh). While in town, the duo enlists the help of Captain Lance (Paul Blackthorne), and Cisco meets the Black Canary (Katie Cassidy), who asks him for afavor. Meanwhile, back in Central City, Barry (Grant Gustin) races to catch a meta-human named Hannibal Bates (guest star Martin Novotny) who can transform himself into every person hetouches – which includes Eddie (Rick Cosnett), Iris (Candice Patton), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker)and even The Flash. Wendey Stanzler directed the episode written by Ray Utarnachitt & Cortney Norris.


In the comic books, Hannibal Bates is better known as Everyman, and you have to imagine that his shape shifting abilities will cause a major headache for Barry Allen in this episode. It should also be a lot of fun to see another Arrow crossover, especially as they will presumably be digging up the body of the real Harrison Wells based on that recently released trailer (see it by clicking here).

The real harrison Wells is dead. There's someone else using his likeness. That was a decent plot twist I thought.

I kind of wish that Barry could travel back and save the real Wells later on just so that Tom Cavanaugh can stay on the show. Best actor EVER!

Laurel is probably going to ask Cisco to maybe build her her very own Canary cry. Maybe it might be different than Sara's where she wears it as a necklace around her vocal chords. Am I the only one noticing how they've mentioned Felicity's dad throughout the season. Especially when her mom comes around. I hope the Arrow producers make Felicity's father Sportsmaster. He was always a boring villain until Young Justice made him badass.

He would be perfect as Felicity's father. It would obviously cause drama, he fits perfect for the Arroverse, and his costume is easy to make with a TV budget like Arrow's!

It was alright don't really think they should have wasted the after the show scene to him saying he was Harrison Wells though. Just seemed like an odd choice.

And why anyone would think it means Cavanaugh can't/won't continue playing Thawne (as he always has!) is equally baffling.

Yea it was a great misdirection because we thought Wells was behind the reverse flash mask but in reality it's the reverse flash behind Wells

I would have preferred that Thawne made himself look like Allen in the future but he's aged since and went back in time as Harrison Wells. I think it's just wasted potential because Grant and Cavanagh look similar. Anyway, what they chose to do is still acceptable.

Then by season 3 or the end of season 2 we'll have Bart Allen aka Impulse! Let's Crash the Mode!!!

I still think that somehow the real Harrison Wells will come back to life, and that "favor" that Laurel will ask Cisco about, I think it may be releated to the Canary Scream.

Like I said before Felicity's father should be Sportsmaster! It would cause drama, better backstory for her, he fits in perfectly in the Arrowverse, and his costume is perfectly a TV budget costume!


Also, I have realized since Oliver becomes the new Ra's, I'm guessing they would have the Arrow team kind of walk away from him and do their own thing. In that case Diggle should be Guardian like Mal Duncan was in Young Justice. It would be pretty badass to see Diggle wear the Guardian suit.


Thea should be Cheshire. It simply fits.

Even if the real Wells is saved via time travel, it won't be the same person/personality we have come to know, who is the Reverse Flash. Hardly a twist, when it was telegraphed all along that this is who current-Wells is, regardless of whether he assumed another man's identity 15 years ago or not. That's almost immaterial.
