When Cisco (Carlos Valdes) gets a vibe of Eobard Thawne (guest star Matthew Letscher), Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team don’t believe it. But, after an attack at Mercury Labs, Christina McGee (guest star Amanda Pays) confirms that the Reverse Flash is back. Meanwhile, Iris (Candice Patton) and Francine (guest star Vanessa A. Williams) share a nice moment that brings Iris closer to her brother, Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale). Michael Allowitz directed the episode written by Aaron Helbing & Todd Helbing.

@Tempestjohn Lol what do you mean? He's in an uncomfortable situation...he shouldn't be cracking jokes...and yet he does (twice) about his father being a shitty detective. On top of that the DC YOU's Wally is a go-kart racer, here...he's a drag racer.

Other than that minor change, that was EASILY the best of both worlds (PreNew 52 and New 52 Wally).

@Arrowverse I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that, it was good to see Wally have some of his Pre-N52 characteristics, namely his connection to cars.

Also, it thankfully looks like he's going to be given a redemption arc and forgive his father somewhat soon, Atleast based on the ending of this episode...

I miss the pre new 52 Wally,before Barry's return he was the fastest of all the Flashes.He is the one who figured out the Speed Force and he also figured out his powers more than any of the others (He figured out how to steal speed from things and slow them down among other cool stuff!)

Best of all, it seems like they'll remain bad guys. Lately ive been worried that they might end up turning the SS into DC's GOTG. but after the trailer i have no more doubts.

So if i understand well, Eobard Thawne travels back to the past, but to the wrong time and then he use this chance to meet and try to kill his hero, The Flash. But Barry cant do anything, can not try to defeat him, because if he does, all the past will change and he will destroy the time itself.

So in other words a "safe ride" to present how was the original Reverse Flash, the stalker one, not the teacher one. It looks good...
