DR. LIGHT COMES THROUGH THE BREACH — Barry (Grant Gustin) learns a new breacher, Dr. Light, has come through the portal and sets off to capture her. Jay (guest star Teddy Sears) tells Barry that Dr. Light was not a threat on Earth-2 and that Barry can reason with her. However, during a fight with The Flash, she blinds him and drops some shocking news about Zoom. Meanwhile, Barry and Patty (Shantel VanSanten) go out on a date. Clark destroying the big rig after being insulted by the trucker was dumb. No one heard the truck being mauled? It was daytime and the truck was 150 feet from the diner. LAME!

@LEVITIKUZ None of those were billed as grounded re-makes. There is nothing grounded about that scene, it totally took me out of the movie when i saw it in the theaters, I wasn't alone. That is a failure.

I am not bashing DC because I am some Marvel fanboy. Believe me, i have issues with some of the MCU films too. But the topic I was addressing is MOS.

@LEVITIKUZ I liked MOS on the whole, but it is deeply flawed in a way that Superman the Movie wasn't. The original is still way better.

In the Krypton opening, Jor-El dived into the water to strive the McGuffin/Codex. He retrieves it and swims back to the surface. When he gets out of the water he uses the Codex to plant his hand putting all his weight on it. On an account skull that is central to his people surviving after Krypton is destroyed.

Watch the scene over again. It is bad directing. It is also something Jor-El wouldn't have done due to the chance of cracking or damaging the Codex.
