INTRODUCING JAY GARRICK — Jay Garrick (guest star Teddy Sears), a mysterious man from Earth-2, appears at S.T.A.R. Labs with a dire warning about an evil speedster named Zoom, who is set on destroying The Flash. Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team must decide if they can trust this stranger even as they face yet another powerful meta-human. Meanwhile, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) must deal with a determined officer named Patty Spivot (guest star Shantal VanSanten) who wants to join his meta-human task force. Jesse Warn directed the episode written by Aaron Helbing & Todd Helbing (#202).

THE FLASH is a fast-paced super hero drama that follows the high-speed adventures of Central City Police scientist Barry Allen, an everyday guy with the heart of a hero and the genuine desire to help others. When an unexpected accident at the S.T.A.R. Labs Particle Accelerator facility strikes Barry, he finds himself suddenly charged with the incredible power to move at super speeds. While Barry has always been a hero in his soul, his newfound powers have finally given him the ability to act like one. With the help of the research team at S.T.A.R. Labs, Barry begins testing the limits of his evolving powers and using them to stop crime. With a winning personality and a smile on his face, Barry Allen — aka The Flash — is finally moving forward in life … very, very fast!

I'm starting to do what Trollem aka @Jollem do in every single Marvel's articles.

"DAMN, TERRIBLE ACTING, TERRIBLE EPISODE. THE WORST OF THE WORST. THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 IS BETTER THAN FLASH. JUST TERRIBLE"

Wells told Barry "I'm going to give you exactly what you want and you still won't be happy." Wells gave his confession which would exonerate Barry's father. His dad saw the life and family Barry built and decided to go do his own thing.

Wells/Thawne is just that kind of nemesis, dudes not even around and has still pushing Barry's buttons.

It's bugging me that Thawne confesses as Harrison Wells and Barry uses that to exonerate his dad. But how can he do that in good conscience knowing that Harrison Wells is innocent and Thawne was the real killer. It ends up ruining the name of an innocent man.

I would have loved it if they did it like how in the comics Thawne left Barry a video of him killing his mother to gloat. This was also how they solved the mystery of who killed Barry's mother so it wouldn't have made much sense, but still, if only CW went the route of the usb being RF killing his mother...still loved the episode

My theory is that some folks from Earth2 got stranded on Barry's side. That's why there were two Rothsteins.

My brother wants them to include Henry Allen in the show and have him start up a relationship with Tina McGee, and I had to explain to him why that makes too much sense.

When the camera panned in front of the cake and focused on the knife for just a couple seconds I immediately got excited/nervous and said "OH SHIT!!" aloud.

I seriously thought Barry's dad was about to get stabbed to death after spending 15yrs in prison, the day he's released and at his welcome home party no less!! Anyone else think that??

That shit would be DARK!! I couldn't help think, if they REALLY want to emotionally/mentally f*ck with Barry, that'd be the biggest card they could play!

Glad I was wrong, I guess they're saving it for later. haha

Season one was good so I don't mind that this ep wasn't perfect. Seemed like the intro of Jay is really starting this seaaon. Didn't feel like a premier episode, it really felt like the last ep of season 1.

The first episode of season two was bordering OK/good,I'm sure it will improve as the season progresses.

I need to see Zoom & Grodd.
