I'm still trying to fathom why the hell they would give Gavin Hood the director spot. Um Wolverine sucked! Enders Game has such potential, why do the idiot execs give it to shitty directors. DAMN IT

Not like i hate the guy or anything but im happy Yoakam isnt Butch Cavendish (Lone Ranger´s actual villain). I hope they get someone like Jeffrey Dean Morgan for the role. He and Tom Wilkinson would make a great villains.

Enders Game is shaping up nicely. I hope its good.

Sergeant Dap is from Ender's Shadow I thought, not Ender's game.

Isnt Ruth Wilson also confirmed for it? I'm a fan of hers after watching her in Luther. And i think she's pretty hot.

@technoman Orson Scott Card has said before that the film wiould probably be a combination of Game and Shadow so I assume that's what they are doing if they have cast Dap

Dwight Yoakam played a pretty good character in Sling Blade.

My favorite line he had in a Roswell film: "Ya'll know how folks talk about litte green men? Well, they ain't green."

Two words... Tom Petty.
Not only is he buds with Johnny Depp (Mr. Depp was even in one of his videos) but Petty has played with having a cowboy image in other videos, film, and on stage.

Although, if Tom Petty was up for a part I'd rather see him as a good guy.
