Native American spirit warrior Tonto (Johnny Depp) recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid (Armie Hammer), a man of the law, into a legend of justice—taking the audience on a runaway train of epic surprises and humorous friction as the two unlikely heroes must learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption.

The Lone Ranger is directed by Gore Verbinski, from a screenplay written by Ted Elliott, Terry Rossio, Eric Aronson and Justin Haythe. The film stars: Johnny Depp, Armie Hammer, Tom Wilkinson, William Fichtner, Barry Pepper, James Badge Dale, Ruth Wilson and Helena Bonham Carter. Now available on Blu-ray and DVD.

I actually really like this movie. It was pretty awesome. The two train sequences alone are worth the view.

the effects were good,shame the wasn't.

so i've been told,still haven't seen it may watch it on netflix.

This movie was really enjoyable. It got a bad rap, but it didn't deserve it. It was certainly better than a lot of other genre flicks. Prometheus and Pacific Rim for example. Those movies were turds compared to TLR.

From what I hear there's still sequel discussion. I definitely think entertainment wise it was no worse than your typical Pirates sequel.

Best [frick]ing movie of the year. So underrated. People decided it sucked because of the [frick]ing critics.
