As we learned at the end of The Flash's second season, time always has a way of catching up with Speedsters who meddle with it, and it looks like Barry Allen won't be an exception to that rule when the ever-popular CW series returns for a third season this October.

A new promo for the hit show has now surfaced online, showing some brief snippets of new footage, including some conversation with CEO Cisco and a possible new look at Dr. Alchemy! Check it out below!

The Flash returns October 4 on the CW.

What is the point of doing the Flashpoint story if you already know Barry caused the change in the timeline. The hole climax of the damn story is that you discover this is all Barry's fault. So this will be VERY underwhelming. calling it from now. Btw I love this show , and I say this with a heavy heart

Interesting...the previous season was really entertaining, I hope this season keeps the pace up and doesn't end up like Arrow. I don't know much about the Flashpoint story but I hope this heads in a good way and isn't resolved in a few episodes. There has to be some major concequene and not just an alternate version of the previous season.

I still don't understand what everybody loves about Grant Gustin so much.... He's a pretty wooden, bland actor. The only people I think do/did a really good job are Jesse Martin and Tom Cavanaugh(who I've never been a huge fan of).

@MattBellissimo - And that's not easy for me to admit, considering I've never really liked Cavanaugh. But once he officially came out as Reverse Flash... he did a great job.
