CONFIRMED: Composer Carter Burwell Drops Out Of THOR: THE DARK WORLD

It was rumored earlier this week that composer Carter Burwell (The Blind Side, True Grit) departed from Marvel's Thor: The Dark World, and now a reliable source confirms that a new composer will be hired for the upcoming sequel.

Earlier this week, a rumor went online suggesting that award winning composer Carter Burwell was no longer scoring Marvel Studios' upcoming sequel Thor: The Dark World. Now, Deadline confirms that The Blind Side composer is now officially off the project, but it isn't because of bad blood between him and Marvel; instead, it's being descirbed as a "creative split". "They like him but it wasn’t the right project," a studio insider told the site. Marvel will soon announce a replacement for Burwell. The rumor also stated that director Alan Taylor was feuding with the studio, but Deadline doesn't say anything about that. Burwell was recently hired to score Bill Condon's The Fifth Estate. Who should replace him as composer for Thor: The Dark World?

Marvel's Thor: The Dark World stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Christopher Eccleston, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, Jaimie Alexander and Anthony Hopkins. The film is set to hit theaters November 8th.

Alan Taylor should use his GOT powers and bring Ramin Djawadi back, his iron man soundtrack was the best one in the marvel universe. He does a great job on GOT too.
