Captain America represented the pinnacle of human physical perfection. He experienced a time when he was augmented to superhuman levels, but generally performed just below superhuman levels for most of his career. Captain America had a very high intelligence as well as agility, strength, speed, endurance, and reaction time superior to any Olympic athlete who ever competed. The Super-Soldier formula that he had metabolized had enhanced all of his bodily functions to the peak of human efficiency. Most notably, his body eliminates the excessive build-up of fatigue-producing poisons in his muscles, granting him phenomenal endurance.

Abilities
Captain America had mastered the martial arts of American-style boxing and judo, and had combined these disciplines with his own unique hand-to-hand style of combat. Jensen Ackles would just never do, and I'm posting this here before somebody even suggests his goofy-lookin', five-foot-eleven ass.

Liam would be a decent choice but can he act? I just never saw anything of his. So far, Jensen Ackles is the BEST choice which acts convicingly while looking like Steve Rogers: Super Soldier!

Actually I think it is okay so far that we haven't seen any pics. As I recall it also took a lil before we saw any pics from Iron Man II and right now it is shaping up to be the movie of the year!!!


Amen Shaman, Jensen Ackles is as goofy looking as Galactus devouring an exploding star aka. not really goofy at all!

@Stubbyswof: I'm with you on that notice. Marvel is getting better at keeping their trap shut when it comes to the real news. Unfortunately it doesn't stop them from leaking Short(long)-lists....
