Natalie Portman Spotted On THOR: THE DARK WORLD Set; Stan Lee's Cameo Revealed?

Until today, there were only reports of Natalie Portman taking part in the on-location London filming for Thor: The Dark World, in which she's reprising her Jane Foster role. Check out photos!

Another week of filming in London is in store for Marvel's much-anticipated Thor: The Dark World movie. And following last week's battle-heavy scenes, actress Natalie Portman has finally been spotted filming the Alan Taylor-directed Marvel sequel. When cameras were rolling today, Chris Hemsworth was seen costumed running in the street, followed “closely” by Portman.

Photographed by @DonnyJonny_ of Twitter, check out the distanced set photes below. And for the possible reveal of Stan Lee's cameo, possibly related to Natalie's scenes today, check even lower!

Also, Stan “the man” Lee's inevitable cameo in the 2013 actioner may have been revealed. According to @MisterGreenwich of Twitter, who's notorious for tracking all things in Greenwich, where filming is taking place, Lee's cameo will involve the follwing; potential spoiler warning.

The bus that Mr. Greenwich is referring to is the London double-decker, with a fictional movie advert on its side, which was spotted last week. It seems the very sequence that Natalie Portman & Chris Hemsworth are filming today will involve the bus. What do you think?

Marvel Studios’ “Thor: The Dark World” continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvel’s “Thor” and “Marvel’s The Avengers,” Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos…but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all.

Starring Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård, Idris Elba, Christopher Eccleston, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, Tadanobu Asano and Jaimie Alexander with Rene Russo & Anthony Hopkins as Odin, “Thor: The Dark World” is directed by Alan Taylor, produced by Kevin Feige, from a story by Don Payne (credit not final) and screenplay by Christopher Yost and Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely (credit not final) and is based on Marvel’s classic Super Hero Thor, who first appeared in the comic book “Journey into Mystery” #83 in August, 1962. “Thor: The Dark World” is presented by Marvel Studios. The executive producers are Louis D’Esposito, Alan Fine, Stan Lee, Victoria Alonso, Craig Kyle and Nigel Gostelow. The film releases November 8, 2013, and is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

In addition to “Thor: The Dark World”, Marvel Studios will release a slate of films based on more iconic Marvel characters including “Iron Man 3” on May 3, 2013; “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” on April 4, 2014; “Marvel's The Avengers” sequel (title TBA) on May 1, 2015; and “Ant-Man” on November 6, 2015!

@72 - I hear ya, man. I think they should give us more "Thor/Sif" relationship. Maybe we'll see that in this film. I don't think that Natali Portman is horrible or anything, she was good as Jane Foster in Thor, and to have her back is okay with me, but I still want a "Thor/Sif" relationship developing here. :)

Well the fact that she was "dragged" in the movie, she may not have much screen time so there might be more Thor/Sif scenes. I'm still waiting for Loki and Kurse.

portman wasn't that bad in thor. in fact, i thought the way she acted was kind of charming. it might've been the writing that did her in for you guys.

the one who truly was obnoxious was kat dennings and her shit jokes. worst attempt to inject humor into the story EVER...

Yes! Gotta have Portman as Jane. Glad the rumors were false. Changing or missing actors kill continuity for me. Rhodey for example.

So glad Portman and Hopkins are back as well. Continuity issues must be resolved. Really enjoyed the first Thor and thought Branagh's editing choices were spot on with the exclusion of most of that deleted footage. Hope the sequel can retain the soul that Branaugh allready infused it with.

Portman was OK except for a few awkward scenes, but you guy's are right we definately need to see more Sif and Thors non-platonic feelings toward her

I hope Jane Foster is developed more in Thor 2.

I actually thought that Natalie Portman did a good job, but that Jane could've been written better.

And we need more Lady Sif action scenes! I love the Stan Lee cameos. Keep 'em coming Marvel.
