Marvel’s "Thor: The Dark World" continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvel’s "Thor" and "Marvel’s The Avengers," Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos…but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Christopher Eccleston is playing Malekith. I seriously doubt he'll be a disappointing villain.

I think this will be great.
Marvel have a habit of picking up actors ((RDJ was just doing the rounds before Iron Man, now he is the highest paid actor in the World!) Hugh Jackman (Wolverine made him) and I predict similar big things for Chris Hemsworth (looks like Rush will be good as well)) and making them star names.
Your right Mal Chris Ecclestone is a seriously good actor and will be a menacing villain.
Looks like Jane Foster and possibly Thors mother Frigga will die in this one. Alan Taylor has a habit of killing off characters.

Interesting thing at the theater yesterday. Went to see Riddick and the "go big or go home" came on with Thor TDW and as soon as it was over they played it again. The that was over and they played the real trailer right after. Marketing overkill.
Also, Marvel, please release a new US trailer (with new footage) that leaves an awesome impression. These two past trailers have been just good. By now Iron Man 3 had that badass trailer with the house party at the end. Whatever your opinion on Iron Man 3 was, that trailer got you pumped. Thor TDW's trailers haven't left nearly as great an impression on me. I WANT ANOTHER!

Am I the only one thats pissed that they replaced Black Panther with Falcon in Avengers Assemble only to make Falcon a tech genius? I don’t remember any version of Falcon being more than above average intelligence.

Yes that's exactly what I've been saying all this tine. Hopefully the trailer they release with IM2 on ABC on Tuesday is a new one.

The tone of the movie looks awesome... I said that about Ironman 3 too and it turned out completely different.
