YES!!! If this is true, I am so happy they're using the storyline from the comics that brought the Avengers together.

As long as Hulk isn't the main villain, and is merely a threat that brings them together, I'm good.

This sounds amazing!!!!! Especially the stuff about Thor - that is exactly the right kind of plot for the movie to follow! EXCELLENT find MarvelFreshman! :D

I dont buy this completely, since it leaves out some big things that we know are true. We know that Thor is banished because he helps ignite an ancient war. Loki killing Odin and banishing him doesn't really fit into that equation. Its his arrogance that gets him kicked out, not his brother taking over Asgard. We also know that some kind of terrible evil invades Earth, and this doesn't mention that.

I mean, this stuff could be true, dont get me wrong, but since it leaves out other details I'm not sure.

I think it'd be better if after the credits for Thor you see Loki looking into a "crystal ball" type thingy and you see Banner meditating and turning into the Hulk (like in the end for The Incredible Hulk).

Cause I rather see in the end for First Avenger you see Tony and Fury in a submarine or something and they find cap.

Then start off the avengers film with Loki wreaking havoc on earth with Hulk

The [“Avengers”] film opens with 20 minutes of Loki basically entrapping/brainwashing Banner, and in so doing gaining control of the Hulk for his own nefarious deeds. This spurs the Avengers into existence.

What more do you want.

im not sure about this info cause "Loki basically entrapping/brainwashing Banner, and in so doing gaining control of the Hulk for his own nefarious deeds"

this seems like what happen in Hulk vs Thor animated movie. this could be all a fake to trick AICN since they are the ones who leaked Ultimate Nick Fury was going to appear in Iron Man.
Phinehas
Phinehas - 11/25/2009, 6:06 PM
How was Ultimate Nick Fury not in Iron Man? It was Sam Jackson at the end of the credits.

StephenStrange

How could that sniveling little turd kill ODIN? With a magic spell? HA

And anyway, if he did do that, the rest of Asgard would tear him apart, not crown him King. Also THOR is the next in line of ascendancy, not Loki. Loki is adopted.

Wasn't that (The Loki and Hulk thing)already done in the Hulk Vs Thor cartoon? Are they so low on ideas that they have to keep using the same one?

i dont think all of this is real...seems too far out there...im sure these were early versions of it...why would hopkins only be in it for a tiny bit...and why a desert...as for the avengers..it seems their going with the original concept sorta...as with all things this may be speculation or BS..so for now we gotta wait and see till we see trailers and images..also its AICN....they are known for posting BS stuff all the time. so take their "info" with a grain of salt

Don't like the Odin being killed bit either..but, if this is true, for the most part I'll be happy. I mean I'll take the old bastard buying the farm if we get to see Hulk being controlled by Loki, Thor as himself and not pissing around as that gimp Blake.

They aint gonna kill Odin. This is total BS.
