THOR And STAR WARS Actress Natalie Portman Shows Off Her Natural Beauty In This New Photoshoot
Natalie Portman may have moved on from the Thor and Star Wars franchises but at least we get a nice reminder of those days with this must-see photoshoot showing off her amazing natural beauty...
Natalie Portman may have risen to fame after taking on the role of Padme Amidala in the Star Wars prequels but the actress has since made a concerted effort to move on from that franchise by taking on more serious roles. However, she did return to the sci-fi genre with Marvel's Thor and Thor: The Dark World, two movies it doesn't actually sound like she particularly enjoyed working on in hindsight.
The chances of her returning to the MCU seem slim then and while there probably would be a place for Jane Foster in that rumoured female-led team-up movie (possibly as Thor), it still seems unlikely.
Next up for Portman is Alex Garland's Annihilation, a very unique looking movie which will see her star alongside Star Wars actor Oscar Isaac. As a result, she's currently doing the rounds to promote it (hence why she was on SNL this past weekend) and here, you'll find a gallery from a recent photoshoot with Porter. All you need to do is click on either one of the buttons below to check them all out.

Annihilation revolves around a soldier played by Oscar Isaac whose wife (Portman) travels into an environmental disaster zone in a bid to figure out how to save him after he returns grievously injured.
The movie - from Alex Garland, the writer of movies like 28 Days Later and Dredd. He made his directorial debut with Ex Machina, so that explains why there's so much excitement surrounding Annihilation.
Rumour has it that Marvel forced Portman to return for Thor: The Dark World due to contractual obligations, hence why she doesn't appear to be overly keen on working with the studio again in future.
Many fans would love to see Portman reprise the role of Jane Foster, possibly playing the female Thor in the process. It's unlikely, though, so isn't something we should bank on seeing down the line.
It's entirely feasible that Portman could be convinced to return to the world of comic book movies somewhere down the line but when and where that could be obviously remains to be seen for now.
