We're now just under a month away from Thor: Ragnarok and as the worldwide press tour prepares to kick off in just a few short weeks, expect to see plenty of new never-before-seen footage from the upcoming Taika Waititi-directed epic.

This latest TV spot is our first taste
at things to come as we essentially catch a sneak peek at a scene that almost definitely takes place during the film's finale as we get to see Hela (Cate Blanchett) confront the God of Thunder (Chris Hemsworth), who is sitting on the throne, sporting his new short hair. There's also new footage of Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Valkryie (Tessa Thompson), and the final battle. Check out the new spot below:

In Marvel Studios' "Thor: Ragnarok," Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok - the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization - at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger - the Incredible Hulk!

Thor: Ragnarok features:
Director: Taika Waititi
Chris Hemsworth as Thor Odinson
Tom Hiddleston as Loki Laufeyson
Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk
Cate Blanchett as Hela
Idris Elba as Heimdall
Sir Anthony Hopkins as Odin Borson
Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster
Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie
Karl Urban as Skurge/The Executioner
Sam Neill in an undisclosed role
Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Stephen Strange

I wonder why they changed the setting of the hammer scene

@EnnisFan - I agree but I also noticed the scene where Hela is throwing her sword up she now has her cape when she didn't before. Marvel Studios did a lot of this changing around characters via cgi in their trailers especially with hiding Spider-Man in Civil War. I hope Mjölnir still breaks in NYC.

@antman8o8 - Yeah I'm just curious haha, I didn't notice that cape part. I hope it's still in NYC too but not the end of the world if it's not, just looks very clearly like it was lifted and put in a different setting rather than reshot so I just hope if they chose to move it it's cleaned up by the time the movie comes out.

@EnnisFan - I def agree with ya. I feel they just lifted it for this tv spot. I noticed the cap def cause I've been obsessed with every shot of Hela as I'm cosplaying this movie version lol

@EnnisFan - Yeah, changing the setting is a pretty major thing considering that Hela crushing Mjolnir was a pretty big "holy f**k!" moment of the first trailer. It must've been done for a reason.

@EnnisFan -
They did rewrites because the movie was too dark. So they switched it so she's not blowing up New York but some empty field, it looks like.

@Battabing - Originally it was said that Dr. STRANGE was the reason Hela appeared in NY because one of his spells conjured a gateway from Helheim to Earth. This is why Strange was talking to thor in the post credit scene.

But there is zero scenes shown with Strange. I wonder if they cut him from marketing completely? Marvel didnt shy away from using Iron Man a lot.

@SonOfAGif - I remember seeing a drstrange scene in one of the trailers/TVs spot (I think it was Japanese. So I feel strange is definitely still in the film.
Personally, I much preferred the New York ally visual over what we see here (a plain field).
Maybe, they are wanting to keep Stranges cameo a "secret". I mean we analyse every shot of the trailers and realise NY hints at strange etc, but to the average movie goer they likely only watched the trailer once and haven't made the connection,

A new IMAX Banner? What about a new IMAX Thor? It's his movie.

For those who still have a problem with the way the film looks and feels, I mean, these couple of images are basically THE movie in aesthetic and tone:
