Tom Hiddleston was a guest on This Morning...this morning...and spoke a little about his new sex symbol status, as well as his charity work with Unicef. Of course he was also asked briefly about Thor: The Dark World. The actor reiterates that it's going to be a very interesting progression for both his character Loki and his brother Thor, and then reveals that - like a lot of Marvel's movies - the Thor sequel will hit the UK a little earlier than the US, where it's scheduled for a November 8th release. Hidlleston fans (that's all of us right?) will probably want to watch the whole vid, but if you just want the Thor stuff it comes in around the 6:16 mark.

Marvel Studios’ “Thor: The Dark World” continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvel’s “Thor” and “Marvel’s The Avengers,” Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos…but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all.

The movie is directed by Alan Taylor and stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård, Idris Elba, Christopher Eccleston, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, Tadanobu Asano and Jaimie Alexander with Rene Russo & Anthony Hopkins as Odin.
