I'm thinking...first?!? lol Horowitz is undeniably a great author - I have read all of his "Alex Rider" books, and they are absolutely terrific. That should have great meaning for the "Tintin" sequels. I hope that the first one will be really good and can warrant a sequel so Horowitz's talent is allowed to shine. As for him writing a Sherlock Holmes story - there could be no better author I could think of for it. Not just because of "Alex Rider", but just because he is very intelligent and knows what he is doing. He would not be writing it if he wasn't sure it was at least pretty good.
