Leonard Nimoy, best known for his iconic role as Spock in the classic Star Trek series, is confirmed to be in Transformers: Dark Of The Moon. From EW:

Mr. Spock himself, Leonard Nimoy, has joined the film as the voice of Sentinel Prime, the predecessor of Optimus Prime whose wrecked body is seen in the teaser trailer, found crash-landed on the moon by the Apollo 11 astronauts in 1969. Later, after being brought to earth, he takes the disguise form of a fire engine in the movie’s massive, climactic battle through Chicago.


With a cast that includes Shia Labeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whitely, John Malkovich, Hugo Weaving, Peter Cullen, and Patrick Dempsey, Transformers: Dark Of The Moon hits theaters on July 1st, later this year!

WTF? Come on Bay...always messing things up. First off you bring back Cullen for Optimus in the 1st one (GREAT JOB) and then tell us you won't/can't get Frank Welker. Fine...I'm ok with it...so you replace Welker/Megatron with Hugo Weaving..(Cool I'm ok with that if you couldn't get Welker or didn't want him, whatever) BUT then all of a sudden Welker is in Revenge of the Fallen as Soundwave and Devastator. WTF? Why not have him as Megatron in the first place...? Now you bring in Galvatron's voice and make him into Sentinel Prime? Come on...I hear Sentinel Prime and he's going to sound like Galvatron...

I get that I'm prob nerding out too hard on this but why not have Welker do Megatron, introduce Galvatron with Nimoy and have Weaving do Sentinel Prime from the start. I realise you can't change it now but the problem is you screwed it up from the start Bay.


BAY You suck...can't wait till this last one comes out just so you are done with the franchise. You're a joke and your movie career's a joke too...you're not as good as you think and you haven't made a good movie since Bad Boys.

I actually like The Rock. Back when I thought positive of Michael Bay. Those other two films you mention weren't all that great (despite box office success); this guy makes such hackneyed, soap opera-level love stories in what's supposed to be a chest-beating action thriller.

@Rodimus9 yes those movies do actually suck. They're the kind of dvd's you don't care if you lose the case for or scratch cuz they'll spend the rest of time in the 5.99 bin if for some reason i'm dumb enough to pay for em a second time.
