Michael Bay Reveals When We'll See The First Trailer For TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION

In a post denying recent reports that he criticized the last three Transformers movies while talking to journalists on the set of Transformers: Age of Extinction, director Michael Bay has revealed when we will see the first teaser trailer! Check it out.

It is a drag talking to reporters on sets. Why? Because often times they take your words and skew things to their liking? Then the crazy, lazy game of reporting on what other writers story’s reported me saying and then suddenly it becomes skewed Internet truth. So I waste my time to restate exactly what I did say, again.

No I did not ‘apologize’ for any Transformers movies. I did not say I shot the last three movies “less cool” then the new fourth installment. I was talking specifically about camera style and tone, of the first movie compared to how I shot the new installment with a very big scale, cinematic style. I was very specific in saying the first Transformers was shot in a ‘generic suburbia’ area, not trying to be cool with any cinematic flashes. I wanted it to feel like this could happen in any backyard in the United States.

So that brings me to letting Transformers fans know that we have completed our five and half month shoot. We got back from a month long shoot in China. My crew and I had a fantastic time shooting in Hong Kong and Mainland China. It was an amazing experience, and I love the country. My cast was absolutely fantastic, and a very fun group to work with. We are working hard cutting the movie right now. I think the first piece comes out for the Super Bowl and a teaser right after that.

And yes, I’m very excited about this new movie.

Michael

Directed by Michael Bay and starring Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, Stanley Tucci and Kelsey Grammer, Transformers: Age of Extinction movie is set to be released on June 27th, 2014.

Looking forward to the trailer, but I think Superbowl is kind of late.I mean, we just got the teaser trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2, which comes 2 months before Transformers:AoE,but the marketing is already going at full throttle like it's being released next week. We are also getting the teaser trailer for Interstellar, which will be released 4 months after AoE.Trailer with Superbowl means that the movie will only have 4 months to do its magic before the release, while the other summer blockbusters will get their 2nd full length trailers by that time.Probably this is just me, but that's the way I see it

I knew Bay would release the teaser during the Super-Bowl. I can still remember seeing the "Revenge of the Fallen Teaser" (before any if us knew how it would come out of course) lol it got me super pumped.

But like I always say, "I have a strong feeling that Bay is going to surprise us this time." There's so many things that couldn't make this film anything less than at least "good". It's a new chapter, we have Dinobots and a new cast at that!? Can't wait to see what it brings!

He has nothing to apologize for. If the first 3 were bad movies, they wouldn't have made the money they did, and would have never been made honestly.

I need a Linkin Park song for this movie. It is tradition after all.

Only time will tell.

If he had any brains he would have let us belive he had appologized for all the Transformers movies he's done thus far. It would at the very least make him appear he has the ability to learn.

Take out the horrible cheesy stuff, clam down on the product placement, and make the human element hold some weight, maybe then you can have a really good blockbuster. Transformers 3 is pretty shitty but the first two are solid action flicks. Must be so cool to bandwagon hate this franchise.

I think the people who criticize this franchise are just expecting too much about a movie about giant alien robots, robots that transform into cars. These movies don't need to be deep and meaningful.

Let it be what it is, and have fun with these popcorn flicks.

This movie won't be worse than Transformers 2. There's no fvcking way anything can be as bad as Transformers 2.

I just wish they would slow down the action so I could tell what the F@k was going on. I mean all I see is lights, explosions, and a lot of debris getting thrown around then all the sudden there's the good guy standing on top of the bad guy and I think dang I wish I could have seen what just happened it must have been epic.
