Shia LaBeouf Comments On Transformers Without Megan Fox!

Talking to Hero Complex, Shia LeBeouf has shed some light on the possible reasons Jonah Hex star Megan Fox decided to not return for the third installment of the popular Transformers franchise. As you may recall, Fox and director Michael Bay had some petty public disagreements at the time, and this may explain the reasons behind it.

On The Reasons Behind Megan Fox's Departure From The Transformers Franchise:

Megan developed this Spice Girl strength, this woman-empowerment [stuff] that made her feel awkward about her involvement with Michael, who some people think is a very lascivious filmmaker, the way he films women.

Mike films women in a way that appeals to a 16-year-old sexuality. It’s summer. It’s Michael’s style. And I think [Fox] never got comfortable with it. This is a girl who was taken from complete obscurity and placed in a sex-driven role in front of the whole world and told she was the sexiest woman in America. And she had a hard time accepting it. When Mike would ask her to do specific things, there was no time for fluffy talk. We’re on the run. And the one thing Mike lacks is tact. There’s no time for [LaBeouf assumes a gentle voice] ‘I would like you to just arch your back 70 degrees.’

On The New Dynamic Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Brings:

Rosie comes with this Victoria’s Secret background, and she’s comfortable with it, so she can get down with Mike’s way of working and it makes the whole set vibe very different. He has no purpose in life. When he was with the Autobots, he had purpose. He was needed. But he’s got this very supportive girl who’s having him go to these job interviews and trying to nurture him, get him back on his feet. It’s a different female energy than he experienced with Mikaela, who was a very cold biker chick. This woman’s more of a maternal, loving type. Sam wants a domestic, eggs-in-the-morning kind of a thing.

Oh well, thanks for the memories anyway Megan.

Starring Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro, Alan Tudyk, Ken Jeong, Patrick Dempsey, and John Malkovich, Tranformers: Dark of the Moon is set to be released on July 1, later this year!

It's not surprising news, considering that Bay and Fox had some sort of "falling" out if the media news are to be believed. It's also not surprising that some directors are kind of hard to handle because some of them, Bay included, have a definite vision of how they do things. I'm not defending the guy, but I do know that directors can't be pussies or whatever work they're doing will never get done in time.

Bay sucks. I'm sorry, but he does. I don't like to judge people I don't know, but he's an exception. He seems like a pervert as well.

Megan Fox may be a total b*tchface, but at least she is way better looking than buttaface Rosie.I'm sorry, but she is just not attractive facewise in any way.I could find 1000 better looking women than her.I still don't know how she made #1 on the Maxim Hot 100 list.Must have been givin out favors..if you know what I mean!!!

Intruder: I was thinking the same thing in somehow finding a bit of respect for Fox. Never the less, I think her career in show business is probably over. She's not the greatest of actresses and was seemingly brought in to exploit her sex appeal. Something she apparently isn't comfortable with anymore. Hopefully she made enough money and was wise in the way she handled it where she can go to school and do an extreme makeover with her life. That's what us little people have to do if we intend on successfully changing our life course. Best of luck to you Megan!

@Maia87 Yeah but Rosie's character is actually based off a real Transformer character Fox's was not. Rosie plays Carly the girl that would eventually marry Sam/Spike Witwicky.

Eh who cares? You could replace Fox with a wet rag and it would probably do just as good a job.

Can't say I feel any sympathy towards Megan, but I have to give her props for doing what nobody in Hollywood has done before, stood up to Michael Bay.

I don't wanna say this story isn't true, but considering the fact that she did Jennifer's Body afterward, I think there's more to her departure than feeling objectified.

Megan Fox is uncomfortable with playing a slut? Then why is she a slut in Jennifer's Body and Jonah Hex? Movies that have NOTHING to do with Michael Bay.

Bye, Bich.

It all comes down to directing. I direct plays for a living, and it can be difficult to get certain actors to places they would normally be uncomfortable going. The way Shia here is explaining Bay's directing style leads me to believe he didn't give Fox enough time and comfortability in his direction. Whereas the directors of Jonah Hex and Jennifer's Body probably directed her in less offensive ways, Shia seems to be saying Bay just told her to throw out her tits and wear less clothes.

This story is old, Megan Fox was a bitch to work with on the 2nd movie, she pissed off most of her co workers with her rudeness long before the aftermath of the 2nd film release and her run-in with Bay. Several members of the crew wrote letters to the studio expressing their dislike of having to work with her again and eventually they decided to let her go after she started with her diva ways about returning for the 3rd movie. Fanboys can miss her all they want, she apparently wasn't as nice a person to work with before the fame sunk in and since then she's gone on to star in a load of crap movies that don't make any money proving how unbankable she is at the box office.

Being nice to people cost nothing but rudeness can cost you a helluva lot and always will!

I agree with BIGBMH.

When I heard that Megan Fox was not returning for her role in Transformers I was actually excited. Now I think I'm really going to watch this.

Like Ne0Baggins said: I call bullshit - to a degree. I agree that Michael Bay is an exploitative pervert but we all know that Megan Fox is a h0e. That's the only reason she made it into Hollywood, y'know, "handing out favors"!! haha.

I don't know how she even made the Maxim list. There are 100 females in Hollywood that look much better than her. Thank God her stint in Hollywood is over! Good riddance!!

Miss you Megan Fox <3
On the contrary to things, she's a good actress.
A lot of people who give her negativity only do that because she's extremely good looking.

And yes, we all know she's probably a HUGE bitch, but that's her personal life, and I wouldn't be surprised if creepy (but hot) Michael Bay porked her.

Sorry, but you don't bite the hands that feed you. Let's face it; Megan Fox is T&A! She isn't that great of an actress, and every film she has done since has tanked big time. Anyone please deny that!

I agree with Shia. I never knew that Megan Fox was this sex symbol. I thought she was gonna be a big deal when she came on the scene, this take-no-bullshit actress. Talk about getting [frick]ed in the ass.

Again, the whole drama between Megan and Michael Bay makes no sense to me. Then again, this one guy I talked to said it right: "So what if she called Bay that (referring to the 'Hitler' comments)? Bay is a tool and other actors have also complained (i.e. Bruce Willis and Kate Beckinsale). So because some people hate her, you have to hate her too? Get a mind of your own."

NOTE: I made some crazy comment that differed from the repetitive BS.

I will say this: "Prelude" is trailer music I can't get out of my head. I just wish they chose a better-looking actress who didn't look like a dozen or more bees had a field day on her lips.

Eh, none of my concern. Tomorrow I'm seeing X-Men: First Class.

I am looking forward to the movie, but I have a feeling that Whitley may ruin the film. She looks like a pug and has NO acting experience at all. People can criticize all they want but who would you rather look at for 2 hours? a girl that looks like a dog or:

thought so.

just because Megan Fox may not be the next Meryl Streep does not make her the worst actress in Hollywood. Liv Tyler could easily win that title. while she is by no stretch a "great actress, like Jennifer Connelly or Sandra Bullock, she's still a decent actress who just also happens to be extremely hot (like Connelly and Bullock). yes, having a crappy attitude/personality is not the best way to make friends and further your career (unless your Kobe "a-hole" Bryant) but to feel as if your being exploited while you do it is not acceptable either. Bay has a thing about casting attractive women in his films ("TF" 1 & 2, "Bad Boys"), so the decision to include Whitley baffles me. why not get someone who can act AND is attractive like Rachel McAdams or Olivia Wilde? all I'm saying is, I wish Fox were in the movie because:
1) she's hot
2) continuity
3) decent actress

Whitley is not the 1st or 3rd and destroys the 2nd. so Michael Bay may have ruined the franchise (after ROTF crippled it) with this move.

In the end of the day, I'm happy Fox is out of the movies and I am fine with Bay still doing them. Bay has made plenty movies that entertained me, no matter how much Transformers 2 and Pearl Harbor sucked.
Fox has yet to do anything that i don't find HER annoying in...and frankly, I don't even think she's that hot, especially by "big movie superstar" standards.
