Megatron is arguably the most iconic Transformers villain there is, and has menaced Optimus Prime and the Autobots, in one form or another, over the course of Michael Bay's previous four movies. Now, the evil Decepticon is set to make his return in the latest installment, Transformers: The Last Knight, sporting a formidable new design.

Check out the new character image below, courtesy of the official Transformers Twitter account.

Transformers: The Last Knight is the upcoming fifth film in the live-action film series, currently expected to be released June 23, 2017. The film will serve as a sequel to Transformers: Age of Extinction, and once again be directed by Michael Bay. As with the previous films, it will be a Paramount Pictures production.

Transformers: The Last Knight hits theaters June 23, 2017.

i liked the cast of the last one (maybe beside Reynor) but the movie was so uninspiring.
the lenght and pacing were the biggest issue.

165 minutes. Ughhh ...

also ... Optimus Prime is getting on my nerves.

I really like it! It took 9 years, but I finally can say that's how I wanna Movie Megatron to looks like. And this gladiator element IMO makes him looks kinda bad ass.
So, they gave Megatron some good design, what's next his gonna be an good villain (or at least close to Lockdown from AoE)?

Isn't he called Galvatron now? He died (again) in the third movie, Stanley Tucci brought him back to life in the fourth movie, and renamed him Galvatron. I guess that didn't stick, huh?
