"We are the very first blockbuster to shoot – not 10 minutes, not 15 minutes of IMAX footage – but, 98 percent IMAX footage."

With the arrival of Transformers: The Last Knight this week, it's nearly time for director Michael Bay  to bid farewell to the multi-billion dollar franchise he built and you better believe he's going out with the biggest bang imaginable. As revealed above, Bay has shot nearly 98% of the film with IMAX cameras, which should immediately make seeing this film, on the absolute biggest screen possible, an absolute must.

The feature launches stateside on Wednesdy, with preview Optimus Prime Time screenings beginning Tuesday night and if you attend one of these preview night screenings, you'll receive a pretty kickass new t-shirt along with maybe another special treat or two.

Check out the new IMAX featurette below:

The Last Knight shatters the core myths of the Transformers franchise, and redefines what it means to be a hero. Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving our future lies buried in the secrets of the past, in the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. Saving our world falls upon the shoulders of an unlikely alliance: Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg); Bumblebee; an English Lord (Sir Anthony Hopkins); and an Oxford Professor (Laura Haddock).

There comes a moment in everyone’s life when we are called upon to make a difference. In Transformers: The Last Knight, the hunted will become heroes. Heroes will become villains. Only one world will survive: theirs, or ours.

Transformers: The Last Knight features:
Director: Michael Bay
Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime
Mark Wahlberg as Cade Yeager
Josh Duhamel as William Lennox
Tyrese Gibson as Robert Epps
John Turturro as Seymour Simmons
Stanley Tucci as Joshua Joyce
Anthony Hopkins as Sir Edmund Burton
Isabela Moner as Izabella
Laura Haddock as Vivian Wembley
Jerrod Carmichael as Jimmy
Mitch Pileggi as TRF Group Leader

After the 3 hour crap-fest that was the last Transformers movie, I seriously want this movie to fall hard with critics/the public. I no longer want Bay raping my childhood and destroying what I love about Transformers. I know it's likely to make bucket loads of cash at the box office but it is time the Bay stepped down and let someone else direct these movies.

I'M CALLING FOR A BOYCOTT. I'M CALLING FOR A BOYCOTT OF "TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT". Or as I'd like to call it, "Trans-bore-mores: Please Be The Last One".

I just wanted to spread the word 1 more time. Don't see the new Transformers movie when it comes out in the next Wednesday through Sunday, if we want Michael Bay to be fired from having involvement with any future Transformers movies or end the franchise once and for all. So, join me in avoiding the movie and we could be one step closer to ending Michael Bay's control over Transformers movies going forward. The time to strike back is now. #NationalAvoidTransformers5Weekend
