"We are the very first blockbuster to shoot – not 10 minutes, not 15 minutes of IMAX footage – but, 98 percent IMAX footage."
With the arrival of Transformers: The Last Knight this week, it's nearly time for director Michael Bay to bid farewell to the multi-billion dollar franchise he built and you better believe he's going out with the biggest bang imaginable. As revealed above, Bay has shot nearly 98% of the film with IMAX cameras, which should immediately make seeing this film, on the absolute biggest screen possible, an absolute must.
The feature launches stateside on Wednesdy, with preview Optimus Prime Time screenings beginning Tuesday night and if you attend one of these preview night screenings, you'll receive a pretty kickass new t-shirt along with maybe another special treat or two.

The Last Knight shatters the core myths of the Transformers franchise, and redefines what it means to be a hero. Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving our future lies buried in the secrets of the past, in the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. Saving our world falls upon the shoulders of an unlikely alliance: Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg); Bumblebee; an English Lord (Sir Anthony Hopkins); and an Oxford Professor (Laura Haddock).
There comes a moment in everyone’s life when we are called upon to make a difference. In Transformers: The Last Knight, the hunted will become heroes. Heroes will become villains. Only one world will survive: theirs, or ours.
