Haha WalMart had the first one in sale and I got a $45.99 3-Disk Blu-Ray Special Edition of the first film for $9.95! Thank you sequels for sucking so much and being terrible films, you saves me $36!

The 1st one was really good, the 2nd one was dog dookie on a stick, the 3rd one was better but still had some truly AWFUL moments. Overall I'd say, minus the entire 1st act it was an alright movie.

Starscream was a bitch in the cartoon series too. But he would occasionally have enough balls to talk shit to Megatron's face. Even if it was passive aggressive.

He was also ambitious.

MEGATRON HAS FALLEN! NOW I'M LEADER OF THE DECEPTICONS!

The first film blew my mind, don't care what anyone says. Seeing the transformers...transform was one of the best things ever seen on screen.

Now, I agree that the next two were fking terrible, but watchable.

First, great, second not good, third lolbad.

I don't get it. Why is an old cartoon with sub-par animation and a bad Welker voice for what's supposed to be a bad ass villain, held in such high regard? I love The Transformers cartoons like every kid growing up in the 80's, but the show was not great. So why expect so much more when A) the show was never really good to begin with and B) Bay has always been style over substance? I don't remember watching the cartoon for great philosophical meaning, I watched because giant robots.

The first movie was awesome!!! I'm talking about the one I saw at the theater back in 1986 of course.

Best line of the entire film was hearing Grimlock cuss haha.

My kids version of the new Transformers movie...

@DethbytripleDecap:WTF do you mean "subpar animation"? The TransFormers:The Movie was some of THE best cel animation I've ever seen!! You couldn't tell the difference in quality between the cartoon series and the '86 film? Wow.
