I'm looking forward to this movie, probably drive me crazy at times, but also probably entertaining, as many of Bay's films are for me...trick is, go in knowing it's just a summer, popcorn flick based off cool toys, that way, your head won't explode when scenes like this happen...oh, and NnnniiiCccoooLllaaa...

Why do they have to have humans? It's these movies that make me hate my own race. LOL

Yeah, wouldn't mind a 'no human' movie eventually...

The big question for me is will they bring back the illiterate gold-toothed Ghetto-bots or at least explain where they are?

It just won't feel like 'Transformers' without some off-putting stereotyped characters in the mix.

R.I.P. Jazz.

Movie is going to own next weekend.

Undoubtedly.

The one thing you can be certain of, is that this film will make a lot of money no manner how good or bad it is.

@nail, haha...think I'm gonna do an editorial of my theories on the psychology behind "Firsters"...I truly don't understand or comprehend the need to be first on a thread, much less announce it to what end? Better yet, make no further comments after that, haha...Freud books, here I come...

That's way too much cheese. Also, how could Bumblebee still not talk? You would think his voice box would be repaired or replaced by now.

to be fair, he also did that in the Transformers Prime cartoon.

The reason why they aren't going to make a "no human" transformers movie; is because that would mean there wouldn't be an excuse for the stories to take place on earth, which would mean more CGI, which would result in a bigger budget, which would mean for paramount, no bueno.

Transformers do rule.

Unfortunately Bayformers suck ass.

I can't wait to see that Bumblebee dancing scene. It looks so hilarious and I love the music playing during it. The Transformers themselves look to be getting much more solid characterizations this time around. Love that bit at the end with Hound and Crosshairs on Lockdown's ship. Haha. This movie is going to be so damn awesome.

@NostalgicYouth: Michael Bay recently mentioned in an interview that he believes an all-robot film is possible in the future.

@Mercwitham0uth: And that is not a universal fact, so don't treat it like one. That's your opinion.

4 movies in and Bumblebee still can't talk. At least he looks cool.

@Devastation Be as that may, I looked at the behind the scenes of Tranformers Revenge of the Fallen (yes, I really bought the movie on dvd) but anyway, the visual effect teams computer's crashed while working on the devastater (no pun intended). Now just imagine them trying to bring Unicron to life let alone a whole transformers planet.

Loathe I am to admit it, humor has to be in these movies. Too many kids in the seats to go all, "Nolan" on these films.

What I would like to see is a direct to video series of animated films. Separate from the theatrical release & any cartoon they run. With a more "Transformers" focus. Similar in tone to the 80's comics. Aimed at the Transformers fans who grew up (and old) with this franchise. A hard PG13. The way, Marvel & DC have their animated films.

Going into this movie expecting it to be a visual spectacle and a corny, plot-hole filled, at times totally inappropriate for the kids in the audience, train wreck. I hope I'm pleasantly shocked.
