Meh... that trailer didn't look remotely 3d, i even sat there with my cardboard 3d specs on.

...and what the hell is an Ultraviolet Digital™ copy of the film?, for when you want to watch it on a sunbed?.

@simyjo, new technology sir, stereoscopic 3d. You need a 3d tv or 3d display, and the 3d in this movie looked fantastic

No thank you Bay. I think I'd rather buy a video game, and blow stuff up on my own terms!

I tell ya one thing that transformerd got right that all the CBMs this year missed, probably the GOLDEN RULE OF ALL ACTION MOVIES, you can't have good hero without a bad-ass villain! Sentinel Prime, bad-ass... though evil, red scull and loki, not bad-ass. Poop-allax, not bad-ass, just ass. Lol. Sebastion Shaw was sooooooo close to being bad-ass! He would have been if they had him knock around the whole team. Inthe end, he went down WAY too easily.

Lots of CBMs have gotten it right before, I hope its not a lost art... joker, both of them were bad-ass. Magneto and mystique, bad-asses... green goblin and doc oc, bad-asses... megatron, the fallen, bad-asses... iron monger and abomination, even whiplash for the 2 seconds the fight lasted were bad-asses... etc... etc...

Ok so tell me this, who was the "good hero" in this movie? The whiny, self obsessed little prick or the merciless Autobot leader who executed a fallen opponent?

I'm going to have to go with the merciless autobot leader in this one, ror. The ending definitely cemented Prime as the baddest bot on the block, the him killing megatron was WRONG, 100%. Way off character. I'll be be the first to admit that this movie was no where near perfect, just very entertaining...

but do you at least see the value in a strong villain that truly challenges. The hero and pushes him to his limits...? In the case onf the transformers series, megatron owned prime in the first movie, prime had to fuse with jetfire to beat the fallen and megatro after being killed earlier in the film and sentinel took optimus's arm. Or like darth vader and the death star, or agent smith or nero and his giant ship since transformers isn't your thing.

This is one thing that worries me about the avengers, in fact. Loki was no match for thor. Loki and the cosmic cube might be ableto challenge thor alone. The avengers needs a bad-ass threat, not just an evil plot and thor mishevious brother...

I don't own a Blu-Ray player, so I won't bother with it obviously...but even if I did, I wouldn't even consider buying it! Not even the regular DVD. Like the other movies of the franchise, this is only worth a re-watch when it's aired on a TV channel or what; and only for the actions scenes and probably Peter Cullen's voice. I won't spend any more money to see a Transformers movie that has spectacular explosions/battle scenes, BUT also has a non-intelligent Shockwave, badass-yet-turns-out-to-be-an-overly-violent Optimus Prime, monster versions of Soundwave and friends, and etc.
