The network announced on Monday that the popular animated series will return for a 12th season. The show's original creators, Dave Willis and Matt Maiellaro, are responsible for the five all-new episodes that make up the upcoming season.
"We are thrilled to be making more Aqua Teen Hunger Force episodes for a new generation of fans, building upon the most impressive collection of IP ever assembled," Together, the authors stated in a news release. "Success is optimal and leads to quality."
The first episode of Aqua Teen Hunger Force aired on Cartoon Network in 2000, and new episodes were released on Adult Swim up until 2015. Since its launch in 2001, Adult Swim has been a staple for the network because of its strange escapades and outrageous humor.
The most recent feature film, Aqua Teen Forever: Plantasm, will premiere on HBO Max on February 8 and Adult Swim on March 12 at midnight. These releases will be followed by the next Adult Swim order. The movie features all the recognizable and unique characters we've grown to love. Starring the harsh and self-centered milkshake Master Shake, the anthropomorphic package of fries Frylock, and the cute but stupid meatball Meatwad. Oh, and Carl Brutananadilewski, the trio's obnoxious but unfortunate neighbor. Dr. Weird, Ignignokt and Err, Cybernetic Ghost of Christmas Past from the Future, and Steve are some of the additional characters from the show that we can enjoy.

The Aqua Teens' breakup and subsequent reunion to fight the tech mogul Neil's mega-corporation Amazin will be chronicled in the film. Neil is performed by Peter Serafinowicz, while his sidekick Elmer is played by Paul Walter Hauser. Cary Means, Dana Snyder, and Bruce Willis do the voices of Frylock, Master Shake, and Meatwad, respectively. Tim Robinson, Natasha Rothwell, and Robert Smigel are also featured in the movie.
After February 8th, Aqua Teen Forever: Plantasm will stream on HBO Max or is now accessible on Blu-ray and digital release if you can't wait. .
