The cast of Amazon's upcoming small-screen take on The Boys just got some extra star-power with the addition of Academy Award-nominee Elizabeth Shue.

According to Deadline, the Leaving Las Vegas actress will play a character named Madelyn Stillwell, who appears to be a gender-swapped incarnation of high-ranking Vought-American executive and complete bastard, James Stillwell.

"Corporate and formidable Madelyn is the Vice President of Hero Management for Vought, in charge of the public persona as well as the assignments of the Superheroes. Madelyn is a tough negotiator who rides roughshod over public relations dilemmas, such as when Superhero A-Train accidentally kills an innocent bystander and damage control needs to be done at any price, or when a city Mayor requests a Superhero for his own beleaguered town."

The Boys hails from Supernatural creator and Timeless co-creator Eric Kripke, Preacher‘s Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen, and Sony Pictures TV. No premiere date has been set.

Remember falling in love with her after seeing her in the Karate kid and adventures in babysitting which had a comic book connection with the little girl being a Thor fan.

i think the last thing I saw her in was Hollowman.

She was cute in Cocktail also... while we're naming 80s flicks. she has shared the big screen with some big stars.

I loved Stillwell. I hope she does the character justice.
