The first trailer for season 3 of AMC's martial arts epic Into the Badlands teases a ton of crazy action, as we should come to expect.

The
trailer, ominously titled "Join Us or Die," not only gives us fight scenes and awesome cinematography but also hints at what we can expect from Sunny (Daniel Wu) as he tries to look after his young son, Henry.

Watch the trailer below:

Season 3 of Into the Badlands finds Sunny living off the grid, doing his best to provide for his infant son, Henry, in the wake of Veil’s death. It is only when Henry contracts a mysterious illness that Sunny must join forces with Bajie and journey back into the Badlands, where the Widow and Baron Chau are entrenched in a drawn-out war that has destabilized the entire region. No longer supported by Tilda or Waldo, the Widow must find new allies in Lydia and in Nathaniel Moon — the former regent who lost his hand to Sunny and Bajie in Season 2. But when a mysterious nomadic leader called Pilgrim arrives in the Badlands on a mission to restore Azra and usher in a new era of "peace," old enemies must band together to defend the Badlands.

I have really gotten into this show. One of my favorites. If they could upgrade the writing a bit, this could be one of the best shows on television.

Someone convince me to watch this show. I watched the first episode of season one and fell over laughing—literally, not figuratively—halfway through the episode. The second the kid’s eyes turned black and he killed someone was when I realized (1) just how silly the show was and (2) his the show didn’t even realize how silly it’s premise was. I watched about six more episodes or so with a friend just so we could make fun of how dumb we thought the show was. Then we got bored with it. Is the show better now?

Easily one of the most unique and original series out there right now. If only Iron Fist had fight scenes of this quality...

@Shroombeast - Was about to say the same thing! The fight scenes in this are sooo well choreographed, and quite brutal.

Marvel seriously needs to hire the same fight choreographer for this upcoming season of iron fist.
That'd be a HUGE step up- and actually get me pretty excited for season 2.
