NOS4A2: Season Two Of AMC's Supernatural Horror Series Premieres Just A Few Months From Now

NOS4A2 is one of the more recent offerings to be added to AMC's lineup of shows, and we have good news for fans of the series, because a premiere date for the second season has been officially announced...

Season 2 of AMC's NOS4A2 may be set 8 years after the events of Season One, but fans of the series won't have to wait that long for the show to return (maybe if it were Rick and Morty...) , because AMC has officially announced the premiere date for the second season. Fans looking to catch up with Zachary Quinto's Charlie Manx and Ashleigh Cummings' Vic McQueen will be able to so in just a few short months.

The second season of NOS4A2 stars Emmy-nominated actor and producer Zachary Quinto (Heroes, Star Trek), Ashleigh Cummings (The Goldfinch), Jahkara Smith (Into the Dark), Olafur Darri Olafsson (True Detective, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance), Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Girls, The Punisher), Virginia Kull (Sneaky Pete, Big Little Lies), Jonathan Langdon (No Tomorrow, Social Correspondents), Ashley Romans (Big Little Lies, Hermoine Granger and the Quarter Life Crisis), Jason David (The League, General Hospital), and Mattea Conforti (Power, Frozen 2). Based on Joe Hill’s best-selling novel of the same name, NOS4A2 is executive produced by showrunner Jami O’Brien (Fear the Walking Dead, Hell on Wheels) and Hill.

With a premiere date of June 1st, this series will begin airing just a few months after Season 10 of The Walking Dead has ended. Sarah Barnett, who is the President of AMC Networks' Entertainment Group and AMC Studios, made the following comments about the transition from season to season.

“Following the strong success we’ve had sharing other talked-about series across our networks, most notably Killing Eve, we have another terrific opportunity to expand the audience for a great show. With NOS4A2, Jami O’Brien, along with an incredible cast led by Zach and Ashleigh, have delivered a unique take on the vampire story, fueled by Joe Hill’s spine-tingling novel. We’re excited to open this high-stakes story up to entirely new audiences.” - Sarah Barnett, President of AMC Networks' Entertainment Group & AMC Studios.

The supernatural horror series NOS4A2, based on Joe Hill's bestselling novel of the same name, tells the story of Charlie Manx, a seductive immortal who feeds off the souls of children, then deposits what remains of them into Christmasland.

NOS4A2’s second season picks up eight years after the events of season one. Vic McQueen (Ashleigh Cummings) remains more determined than ever to destroy Charlie Manx (Zachary Quinto). Charlie, having faced his own mortality, emerges desperate for revenge against Vic. This time, he sets his sights on the person who means most to Vic – her eight-year-old son Wayne.

The race for Wayne’s soul sends Vic and Charlie on a high-speed collision course, forcing both to confront the mistakes of their pasts in order to secure a hold on Wayne’s future.

Season 2 of NOS4A2 will premiere simultaneously on AMC and BBC America Monday, June 1st at 10 pm EST.
