Those aren't really spoilers, more like a preview. I don't think the character returning is gonna be Morgan. Anyone familiar with the comics now he shows back up, so unless this is a teaser for people who have never read the books, the I doubt it will be Morgan.

Loree or T-Dog in a flashback to "put in an appearance" that no one would have thought to see again.

I, too, have wanted to beat Andrea over the head Or possibly punch Merle in his mouth.

It won't be Morgan, it's too soon.

Don't haul out the flamethrowers, I'm just putting an idea out there. I know what Mazzara and others have said about this - but the one character you can plug in that hole and make perfect sense is - Lorie! We never saw a body...she shows up as a walker and Rick shoots her - At one point in time, many have wanted to do that! It kinda makes sense...and Sarah Wayne Callies' name remained on the credits through the midseason finale...just an idea!
NEONRehan
NEONRehan - 2/3/2013, 9:06 PM
Director stated in the after show "Talking Dead" that the zombie that Rick terminates has chunk's of Lori's hair in his mouth. They went into detail about that climactic scene. I doubt it's Lori coming back as a zombie.

I saw that episode of "Talking Dead" too. I'm still not totally convinced. It wouldn't be the first time that we were thrown off by a comment going one way when the story actually went another. Don't get me wrong, I'm not totally convinced that Lorie might reappear - it just struck me as an interesting possibility. Mainly because, Lorie being an upper-tier character for two seasons leaves the show and there's no body...added to the fact that Callies credit remained for a number of shows after she died. I suppose it could be anyone and probably will be - but I have stopped trying to parse what's said on "Talking Dead" with what happens in the writer's room and goes from script to screen. It's almost never exact.

CaptainSweatpants - 2/11/2013, 8:11 PM
While not exactly the scenario I had in mind, I wasn't surprised that it did turn out to be Lorie - in a way. The credit for Callies remaining in the opening sequence just glared out to me that the actress wasn't done with the show just yet.
