Man the best thing about to night show was the Hobbit commercial. I just can't get excited any more. Black guy shows up kill the other one. Govern knows who exactly the "terrorist" is. They throw terrorist around like its edgy or something. meh

@ravennpilot

I sort of agree with you on that even though I loved today's episode.

It's seems as if they have some sort of they "equilibrium" of black guys, so to speak, is limited to 1 black man.

I don't feel that strongly about it but it certainly is weird.

Anyway, loved this episode. Feb cant come any sooner

I can describe this show by season. Season 1, awesome looking forward to more. Season 2, hmm ok maybe season 3. Season 3 half way, meh.

I want to really like this show. I mean the idiot that demands a bunch of stuff while locked up and someone has a gun and could take you out. There are things that just appear lazy. The writing seems like they gave an amateur a shot at the big time and they fumbled. Im not a writer and dont pretend to be able to write, but there are some skilled people out there and while these goofy occurrences have to happen I will never understand.

And Andrea. Man if I could kill anyone on that show it would be her. She was amazing in the comics. On the show, idiot, she is the girl that every internet joke about women is made for. They killed off the moron Lori. Thankfully There is Maggie, Carol(who does nothing but causes nothing) and Samurai.

I wish Joss Wheadon had 20 min.s to write for Andrea.

I don't think merle dies. In the preview that aired right after the episode showed Daryl in the woods, and then Rick's group apparently finds him in the woods, and then it shows Glenn pointing his gun at someone saying, "What the hell is here doing here?!?"...I'm assuming that he was referring to merle, but thats just my theory.
Anyways, this episode was perfectly executed. And I'm so glad Tyrese is finally here, but ya, the whole "1 black guy" thing is very suspicious and too recurring to be coincidental.

gotta think hat merle and daryle have to fight to the death an merle lets his brother win . we will see, but the promo does show daryle in the woods with his crossbow so he escapes pumped for that.

It seems there are only 3 black men in all of Atlanta.....and only one of them can survive till the mid season. Freakin sucks.

Ah hell, at least Michonne's kickin ass.

LoL thats what they joked about on Talking Dead afterwards, but they said its cuz he's shooting a movie for Martin Scorcese that he had grown out a beard.

Jon Bernthal is moving up...and imagine that, seeing Crazy Shane playing a Berserker Wolverine :D

season 1 was pefection

season 2 had its slow moments but from the mid season finale to the end it was perfection

season 3 has been perfect, only downside is them killing off one black guy for another, and then again

I HATE the Governor!

Andrea better get her shit together.

Michonne is bad ass as always.

The killing of one black character in these last few episodes is kinda annoying, considering the few black characters there are. As soon as the show introduces one black character, you know another is going to die. -_-

That was a satisfying TWD episode! Definitely had me jumping up and down with all of the action and drama going on. To finally see the Governor getting a fresh, new look is great to see. And that "Shane" came was pretty cool. Speaking of that "Shane" cameo, did anyone else here think that Bernthal looked like Wolverine during that cameo? I sure did. It'd be good to see him getting into CBMs along the road.........Particularly, a mutant-esque CBM..............One with claws.......

;)

But anyway, back to TWD. I thought that Tyreese got some good screen time to give us a sense on what kind of character he is. And it's also a relief to FINALLY have him on TWD. So I'm looking forward to see how he develops throughout the series and how the studio will handle him. And one more thing that I am dying to see at the end of the Season 3 finale.......

Oh, yeah. Things are about to go down. :D

Damntree, shut the [frick] up. It's not at all the same thing. It is absolutely absurd that they seem to have an official rule that they can only have one black guy at a time.

I am pretty sure I can tell you how they are gonna work this. Let me start by saying I really haven't been enjoying this season as much as I thought I would. The first couple episodes were good and the episode Lori died was powerful but, the rest been meh. They have ruined Andrea. She is just the ho who is dumb as a board. What happened to the tough Andrea who would shoot a person no prob. I am sure Merle will end up betraying the group after they escape and tell the Governor where the prison is as long as he doesn't kill Daryl. I hate the introduction of Tyrese at this point. The thing that made me hate the Governor was what he does to Tyrese. If it happened now you wouldn't have any attachment to the character. I wish they would have just waited and brought in Abraham. Hope something picks up or I'll just wait till the seasons are done and watch them. Maybe I shouldn't have read the comic then would enjoy it more. Who knows.

We only have 1 asian and nobody says anything..
DaneE5R
DaneE5R - 12/2/2012, 11:20 PM
Jaspion- why would anyone say anything? Glenn's done just fine. There hasn't been a recurring theme of "one asian has been introduced, so the other must die."

Damntree- That was one of the most unintentionally hilarious things I've ever read. "Black people are like %15 percent of the population and are mostly located in urban areas (worst area to be in a zombie apocalypse)." Been through many zombie apocalypses, have you? And each time, the projects (where most of America's black population lives) have been the first to go?

Please stop embarrassing yourself. Take your proud bigotry and bullshit statistics based on a circumstance that has NEVER actually occurred and climb back under whichever backwater rock you crawled out from under.

thedangle1 - 12/3/2012, 12:45 AM
I don't necessarily think it's a black thing with killing off the black characters. We all know Tyreese is a fan favorite and whoever read the comics (like I did) knows all the black inmates in the prison eventually die anyway. I thought it was a very good introduction to Tyreese tonight. Looks like they definitely toned it down for TV between Michonne and The Governor (if you read the comics you know what I mean). Where it goes from here, anyone's guess, but it's excellent. Definitely more of a heartfelt Governor than the comics, but I like it.

I agree with @thebigg40 about Merle. Looks like the Governor shouting out that Merle is a traitor for Daryl to hear will make Daryl believe that Merle is with Rick and the group and pissed at the Governor and betrayed by him, but I think he will be a spy for The G-Man. I wouldn't trust anything Merle does and is going to do.
