In the highly anticipated new season, we find Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and the group fostering a thriving community in the safe haven of the prison. Sadly, in this brutal world, happiness is short-lived and walkers and outside threats are no match for danger brewing inside the fences. The group’s home and new way of life will be thoroughly tested, and their struggle to survive has never been so perilous. Season 4 also introduces several new characters including Bob Stookey (Lawrence Gilliard Jr., "The Wire").

The Walking Dead stars: Andrew Lincoln, Jon Bernthal, Laurie Holden, Jeffrey DeMunn, Scott Wilson, Emily Kinney, Sarah Wayne Callies, Steven Yeun, Chandler Riggs, Norman Reedus, Iron E. Singleton, Madison Lintz, Danai Gurira, Melissa Suzanne McBride, Michael Rooker, Lauren Cohan, Vincent M. Ward, Chad L. Coleman, and David Morrissey.

Its gonna get worse for the group now. I wonder if The Governor is the one who was feeding rats to the walkers.

Why is everyone excited? The character is bad, the show is worse, he will prob show up and kill some no name no one cares bout cause this show won't kill the premier actors.

andrea, dale....

thats actually whats great about this type of show.. any time an actor wants to move on, even if they are one of the stars, you can kill them off to create WTH moments...

NycBlackout is a prime example of those ignorant haters that have nothing better to do. Seriously, if you want to troll so hard, go find some other place. Jeez, some kids just never grow up.

Good episode, although I have to admit I'm glad they're done with this sickness ordeal. I found it kind of boring to be honest. Looking forward to a full-fledged evil Governor, though.

Happy too see The Governor at the end of this episode. This episode aside from The Governor's appearance was brilliant. It made me feel tense.

Lizzie is a crazy little shit.

I was hoping for some Daryl/Rick confrontation but I guess that won't happened.

I wanted him to have longer hair and a beard like he looked in the comics.

I just hope he brings an army & takes them off guard by surprise. It would have been so much better if the audience didn't see him coming like in the comics.

Man, Robert Kirkman made me lose it when I saw the Governor in the tank & the Woodbury forces at the Prison gate on that last page!!!

Martinez could have gotten a bandana... but oh well...

I also would have thought Carol would've joined forces with the Governor like how Patricia sided with the inmates but that ain't happening either it seems...

Carol & Tyrese ain't banging, wonder if her demise will be similar to the comics, but don't know seeing is how everything that affected her death isn't how it was in the comics, but then again this ain't the comics so whatever...

I wonder if the G will kill Beth & then Hershel will let the G kill him too like how he did with Shawn.

I think Lizzy was feeding the walkers. She seems to think of them as pets. In the same episode that was revealed, she was naming them. Everyone knows you get attached once you name something! So there she has motive.

It works in the governors favor but he couldn't have been doing that whoever was feeding them was on the inside. Although he could have planted a mole.. Possibly Bob the guy who would t let go of his booze bag. He said so himself he has been in other groups and they never survive and Sasha said she found him all by himself. How was he surviving by himself?

Tyreese is going to flip when he finds out about Carol but I'm more interested to see how Daryl reacts.

Glad to see The Governor back, he's surely going to make their lives a living hell. Someone big is going to die this season at some point. I really thought Glenn or Hershel were about to bite it in last night's episode for a second. I still have a feeling one of them (or maybe Maggie) aren't making it out of this season alive. That's the one thing that makes this show suspenseful, any member of the cast except maybe Rick Grimes could die at anytime.

Yesterday's episode was good until those last 5 seconds.

I knew he was coming back..but I dont have to like it.
Can anyone think of a lamer, less threatening joke of a villian than this clown?

@Wildaniel The walkers were being fed from inside the compound. Unless the Guv has had a way in and out all along, I don't see it being him. Now, someone working with him is entirely possible.

Just a note, there is one character we've seen prominently this season who's original characterization was as a down and out ex-field medic in the comics Woodbury.

Tyreese and Hershell to bite the bullet by the end of this season - with all the small confined parts to this series so far it seems that they're reserving the budget for something larger scale on the tail end. Well, hopefully.

They've been in that prison too long, no doubt this will end with Rick and Carl on the run, alone as in the comics - if the producers can stomach killing off Judith somehow.

I would not be surprised if it turned out the people who left Woodbury set the place on fire before exiting the compound.
