THE WALKING DEAD Season 5, Episode 2 "Strangers" Promo & 2 Sneak Peeks

Tonight, The Walking Dead kicked off season five with a bang! Now it's time to see behind-the-scenes footage of how they pulled off such a great premiere as well as checking out 2 sneak peeks and a promo for next week's "Strangers" episode.

In my opinion, the season five premiere was one of the best episodes of The Walking Dead. What a great way to kick off the new season! It had everything you could want. So many highlights. For the gore fans, there was an intense opening scene with a baseball bat and a tub-worth of blood. Carol was badass. She was like Ripley and Rambo combined during that rescue miission. I'm so glad we finally saw Tyreese unleash his inner rage. And boy, did he. The wait was long, but the payoff was well worth it. The final few minutes tugged at the hearstrings with emotional reunions.

Season Four of The Walking Dead ended with Rick and the group outgunned, outnumbered, and trapped in a train car awaiting a grim fate. Season Five picks up shortly thereafter. What follows is a story that weaves the true motives of the people of Terminus with the hopeful prospect of a cure in Washington, D.C., the fate of the group’s lost comrades, as well as new locales, new conflicts, and new obstacles in keeping the group together and staying alive. Stories will break apart and intersect. The characters will find love and hate. Peace and conflict. Contentment and terror. And, in the quest to find a permanent, safe place to call home, one question will haunt them… After all they’ve seen, all they’ve done, all they’ve sacrificed, lost, and held on to no matter what the cost... Who do they become?

The Walking Dead stars: Andrew Lincoln, Jon Bernthal, Laurie Holden, Jeffrey DeMunn, Scott Wilson, Emily Kinney, Sarah Wayne Callies, Steven Yeun, Chandler Riggs, Norman Reedus, Iron E. Singleton, Madison Lintz, Danai Gurira, Melissa Suzanne McBride, Michael Rooker, Lauren Cohan, Vincent M. Ward, Chad L. Coleman, Brighton Sharbino, Kyla Kenedy and David Morrissey.

Lennie James is back and that's always good. I not that long ago finished Jericho on Netflix and he was the stand out actor on that show. So I'm happy to see he's back on The Walking Dead. Hopefully WB takes notice of him and makes him Black Manta.

Awesome start to S5...and this should end the "best show on tv" Arrow nonsense (I love Arrow too) but come on, TWD, GoT, Boardwalk and few others are on a different level...

That trough scene was seriously one of the most intense pieces of television I've ever watched. Holy shit.

I don't know how much of a bang it was. For me it was crazier to have Rick bite a guy's neck to kill him more so than killing people like an actual slaughter house. I guess I'm just to desensitized to violence. My biggest issues with this episode were carol not having to take any aim to shoot the firework at the gas leak. It was just "poof" and boom goes the dynamite. Second, what's the relevance to showing us how terminus use to be, I don't care why they are the way they are. It doesn't justify anything. In the zombie apocalypse not justification is needed. It's getting more and more out of hand with the lack of concern with walkers and more of s focus on all these people they keep running in to. Ricks pissed off and that's the best thing. In the end of the world it seems best to double tap anyone you don't know. I'm gonna open it up to all the haters now that have negative comments for me.

Season premiere was fantastic. The only thing I am not a fan of is Rick and his group not going back and making sure the people were dead. Didn't the Governor teach them anything?

Hey @Carl the books are amazing (I own all 134 issues) but you have to admit the show is amazing at keeping casual and die hards like us engaged.

This is Kirkman's playground and he is able to retell his stories.

I'm on the fence about that being Negan. And as far as the no rape rule they made the Govenor a non rapist, why not make Negan the rapist. Just would be weird if he was a cannibal too. If it isn't Negan then they sure [frick]ed up on random casting choices.
