THE WALKING DEAD Season 5, Episode 2 "Strangers" Promo & 2 Sneak Peeks
Tonight, The Walking Dead kicked off season five with a bang! Now it's time to see behind-the-scenes footage of how they pulled off such a great premiere as well as checking out 2 sneak peeks and a promo for next week's "Strangers" episode.
In my opinion, the season five premiere was one of the best episodes of The Walking Dead. What a great way to kick off the new season! It had everything you could want. So many highlights. For the gore fans, there was an intense opening scene with a baseball bat and a tub-worth of blood. Carol was badass. She was like Ripley and Rambo combined during that rescue miission. I'm so glad we finally saw Tyreese unleash his inner rage. And boy, did he. The wait was long, but the payoff was well worth it. The final few minutes tugged at the hearstrings with emotional reunions.
Season Four of The Walking Dead ended with Rick and the group outgunned, outnumbered, and trapped in a train car awaiting a grim fate. Season Five picks up shortly thereafter. What follows is a story that weaves the true motives of the people of Terminus with the hopeful prospect of a cure in Washington, D.C., the fate of the group’s lost comrades, as well as new locales, new conflicts, and new obstacles in keeping the group together and staying alive. Stories will break apart and intersect. The characters will find love and hate. Peace and conflict. Contentment and terror. And, in the quest to find a permanent, safe place to call home, one question will haunt them… After all they’ve seen, all they’ve done, all they’ve sacrificed, lost, and held on to no matter what the cost... Who do they become?
