According to the website Bloody Disgusting AMC's hit series The Walking Dead is planning on producing six webisodes to go along with the season premiere this Fall. Make up artist Greg Nicotero, who makes the zombies look as good as they do on the show, is set to direct the webisodes, with John Esposito on board to write them.

Reports Bloody Disgusting:

Bloody Disgusting exclusively has learned that KNB co-founder Greg Nicotero is getting behind the camera to direct a series of webisodes for the forthcoming second season of AMC's "The Walking Dead".

John Esposito ("The Theatre Bizarre, "Masters of Horror") is penning the screenplays for the six episodes set to premiere this fall. We're hearing they may also play on AMC's annual Fearfest, although that's unconfirmed.

Shooting next month, the webisodes follow "Hannah" and her children who take shelter in her ex-husband's house from a horde of zombies.

As stated earlier the webisdoes will start later this Fall to go along with the start of the second season. Also other than the series revolving around "Hannah" and he kids no other plot details have been given at this time.

Be sure to check out The Walking Dead making its return to AMC on October 16, 2011.

um so. episode 1 then six webisodes then episode 2? why. why. why. this shit needs a reboot already! yea the fx great. but just because it's the only zombie drama on tv it is defaulted to being just awesome. that is no excuse for the lack of quality this show has. the story line is [frick]ed up already what seems to be beyond repair.

i hope im wrong about all this and season 2 kicks ass.
