This better not effect the show...it was super-successful wasn't it? Why would they make budget cuts to a show that makes them money.

Next AMC will be canceling Breaking Bad...*le sigh*

This show was overrated and was successful due to the whole zombie hype. this year its the Frankenstein monster there are already 3 movies in the works and a tv series

@shaddowkhan I almost rage-posted and called you names. LMAO, I suppose I'm partial to zombies, always have been, always will be. So for me the show was awesome and lived up to every bit of it's hype and was possibly the best show to ever grace a TV screen (it had it's flaws, but everything does).

"Overrated" or not, I don't understand the decision to cut it's budget. It's like giving your best salesman (ever) a paycut.

EDIT: Did AMC recently hire a Fox Executive? This just wreaks of something Fox would do. Although, I guess they would cancel it out-right.

i love this show, this & true blood are the best two shows on tv at the moment.

so if the show is a success, why the budget cut? wouldn't you give the show more money.

@CKal, I agree with you totally! The first episode was incredible, then the rest of the series quickly became crap. And the dude found his wife way too fast. People just want to love it because of the comic or because they love zombies, but not everything with zombies is awesome (I'm looking at you Resident Evil movies...)
