After years apart, Slade Wilson (Slade Wilson) has found his son (Liam Hall), but unfortunately, he's not exactly the sweet kid he remembers. Meanwhile, back on the homefront, the Black Canary (Juliana Harkavy) was thrown for a major loop when she discovered Vigilante's (Johann Urb) true identity.

Next week, Oliver (Stephen Amell) once again tries to keep his promise to Slade, but considering that Slade's long-lost son is actually a murderous psychopath, he may need to reconsider a few things while Slade has his own difficult decision to make.

Watch the new promo for episode six, titled "Promises Kept," below:

"Promises Kept" - (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, DV) (HDTV)

OLIVER MAKES A BIG DECISION - As Slade (guest star Manu Bennett) continues to uncover clues about his son's last few years, Oliver (Stephen Amell) makes a big decision. Meanwhile, the Green Arrow (David Ramsey) leads the team into battle against "The Dragon," a villain who is stealing valuable tech in Star City. Antonio Negret directed the episode written by Oscar Balderrama & Rebecca Bellotto (#606). Original airdate 11/16/2017.

As the Green Arrow, Oliver Queen protects his home, Star City, with the help of former soldier John Diggle, computer-science expert Felicity Smoak, his Thea Queen, Deputy Mayor Quentin Lance, brilliant inventor Curtis Holt, and his new recruits, street-savvy Rene Ramirez and meta-human Dinah Drake. In Season Six, Oliver has finally solidified and strengthened his crime-fighting team only to have it threatened when unexpected enemies from his past , including Black Siren, return to Star City, forcing Oliver to rethink his relationship with each member of his “family.” With the team left hanging in the balance, the focus shifts to the fates of every member of Team Arrow!

great episode. underwhelming reveal of Vigilante. When he took of his mask i was like who df is this guy. LOL. Should have made him the back police commissioner or something. That Slade action scene was on point. Keep it up Arrow.

Arrow takes the week for best episode. Deathstroke is so awesome and I still can't believe how much the show has improved over two years ago. I also join the sentiments that Vigilante's reveal was lacking. I was hoping he would have been the REAL Adrian Chase (played by the same actor, of course) Something seems off about Vincent being Vigilante...like why did he wait so long before he masked up?

Not really much of an Arrow guy, but I think he's great in Shannara Chronicles. One of the few bright spots of that show. I sidenote, last night I was toggling back-and-forth between The Lord of the rings on TNT and the Chronicles on Spike and felt the 14-year-old fantasy loving geek in me be amazed that this is actually happening. Never could have imagined that, or all these fantastic CBM movies and TV shows we have. It's a good time…

It was an average episode really. Since it a Berlanti series it had to have it's examples of poor writing.

Vigilante suddenly was not very resourceful as fighting or escape. Just like Killer Frost was suddenly not very good at fighting on this weeks Flash. The writers wanted to expose his ID to Dinah but they need to think up a way to do it that did not create a convenient inconsistency.

The ID reveal sucked ass. Dinah's ex partner.

Another dumbass thing was Vigilante having great opportunities to take a shot on the councilwoman but he turns off the lights then does not fire. Later he decides to talk instead of firing. The writers made it clear Vigilante really wanted her dead but they for some reason make him very proficient at getting in position to do it but very stupid so he can be stopped.

The writers sought to make him a sympathetic character but just made him a contradictory mess. There was zero tension in that entire plot.

Slade's plotline was a bit better, though the obvious wig Bennett wore over his shorter hair was laughable. The action scenes were slightly better than average but "the best of the worst" were not very good after all.

It made no sense why Slade just stopped fighting and took his helmet off but again, Arrowverse characters have to be suddenly dumb for the amateur writers to move things along.

Uhhhhh boi did i liked this episode! :D
Slade was the main character, so no shit!
And *that* sequence was dope and quite splatter too for CW standards!
Can't wait for the next episode.

Good episode. Really liked the Slade arc and how Oliver had more to chew on this episode. Team Arrow's arc was a little underwhelming thought and the reveal of Vigilante felt anticlimactic.
