After several years of adventures,
Arrow will air its eighth and final season this fall on The CW, and in typical final season fashion, the superhero drama will see several familiar faces come back for one final go.
Already, we’ve learned that stars Colin Donnell, Susanna Thompson and Josh Segarra will return to say their final farewells, and now it’s been revealed that John Barrowman will also reunite with his former co-stars in the upcoming eighth season.
Stephen Amell first seemingly let it slip that the actor would return during an appearance at Fan Expo Boston 2019, but it wasn’t until this weekend that Barrowman took to Instagram to confirm the news.
Unsurprisingly, there aren’t any official details on how
Arrow will “resurrect” Malcolm Merlyn, but with the
Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover set to kick off later this year, it’s possible he will appear as an alternate universe version of the former villain.
