ARROW: Prometheus Torments Oliver In The New Extended Promo For Season 5, Episode 21: "Honor Thy Fathers"

While Oliver & Felicity were busy with their nonsensical relationship drama, Adrian Chase made a move on the person Oliver holds dearest. Check out the new extended promo for next week's episode now!

Outside of the relationship issues between Oliver & Felicity and Diggle & Lyla, tonight's episode proved to be quite an uneventful hour as even Oliver & Felicity's grand escape proved to be fairly anticlimactic. However, things took a turn for the worst in the closing moments as Adrian Chase introduced himself to William Clayton, a.k.a. Oliver's son!

The preview and synopsis for next week's installment reveals that Oliver might not be immediately made aware of William's possible abduction, which seemingly suggests that Prometheus might have something more nefarious in store. Meanwhile, Mayor Queen will also have his hands full in the office when every criminal Chase has ever helped put away has now been released on the streets of Star City. He'll also have to deal with a mysterious package.

Check out the new extended promo for episode twenty-one, titled "Honor Thy Fathers," below:

"Honor Thy Fathers" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, LV) (HDTV)

CHASE CONTINUES TO TORMENT OLIVER - Oliver (Stephen Amell) returns to the mayor's office and faces one of his most pressing issues yet - the forced release of dozens of violent criminals prosecuted by Adrian Chase (Josh Segarra). Meanwhile, a crate is delivered to Oliver's office containing a mysterious corpse encased in concrete. Laura Belsey directed the episode written by Marc Guggenheim & Sarah Tarkoff (#521). Original airdate 5/10/2017.

Newly appointed Mayor Oliver Queen finds himself challenged as he fights on two fronts for the future of Star City. With Diggle back in the military and Thea adamant about hanging up her hood as Speedy, Team Green Arrow is down to just Oliver and Felicity – but they’re no longer the only vigilantes in town. Green Arrow’s public defeat of Damien Darhk at the end of Season Four has inspired a new crop of masked heroes to step up and defend the city, though their painful inexperience makes them obstacles, rather than allies, in the field. The arrival of a deadly new adversary will force Oliver to confront questions about his own legacy, both as mayor and as the Green Arrow.

Arrow features:
Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen/Green Arrow
David Ramsey as John Diggle/Spartan
Willa Holland as Thea Queen/Speedy
Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity Smoak
Paul Blackthorne as Captain Quentin Lance
Echo Kellum as Curtis Holt/Mr. Terrific

Who knew Rene could make a winch just appear out of nowhere. Or that Diggle could catch the 330 lbs of Oliver and Felicity with one hand and hold them indefinitely. A shame Canary and Rene were not looking down far enough to see it.

It's also stupid and shitty of Felicity to not share miracle chip that allows paraplegics to walk again. She could help many people and make billions.

Maybe we will get lucky and that episode was meant to make people care more about Felishitty so her death in the finale has more impact. It will have that effect by making people even happier she is dead, if we get so lucky.

well, heres hoping william doesn't die. Last night kind of felt like an episode of scorpion, and it was kind of a filler episode. very character driven, but olicity focussed, so that was too bad.

next week looks okay. I kind of feel arrow is dialing down in these last two episodes. the one before this with helix was meh, compared to this season overall.

Felicity is a nice looking woman, but it's time to kill her off already. It's enough.

So who is the corpse in the concrete? Looks to big and decomposed to be William. I am betting it is Robert Queen, since this episode is called "Honor thy fathers" and I bet there is a lot of flashing back to Oliver's relationship with his father (and maybe Chase/Simon with his?).
My bet is on Robert Queen.

I am looking forward to the finale, because THIS MAY BE THE FIRST FINALE WHERE STAR CITY IS NOT BEING TARGETED FOR DESTRUCTION/NUKING/BIOWEAPONS/MIRAKURU ARMIES!!!

@tugboy - Just you wait, they'll probably go and turn it into something like that real quick ;)
