ARROW TRAINS ROY — Arrow (Stephen Amell) offers to train Roy (Colton Haynes) so he can learn to control his newfound super-strength. However, Roy is a rebellious student and refuses to listen unless Arrow reveals his true identity, which Oliver refuses to do. Meanwhile, the Bronze Tiger (guest star Michael Jai White) escapes from prison and steals Malcolm’s earthquake machine to sell to the highest bidder. Oliver, Diggle (David Ramsey) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) attempt to stop the transfer, but Roy gets in the way, putting everyone in danger. Laurel (Katie Cassidy) is disbarred and spirals out of control. Moira (Susanna Thompson) is thrilled when Walter (guest star Colin Salmon) asks her to dinner, but his reason surprises her. Thea (Willa Holland) encourages her mother to ask Walter to reconcile. Guy Bee directed the episode written by Marc Guggenheim & Drew Z. Greenberg.

this is GOOD but sooo overrated. the acting could be a lot better and the sets and camera shots are all recycled, typical cw show filled with fanservice. it looks like a school play next to game of thrones or walking dead so i just find it ridiculous when people call it the best show on tv. and to even think it deserves to be connected to the cinematic universe... SMH.

Deathstroke at the end was sweet but overall last nights episode was booty.
I just hate the Laurel character and it was a Laurel-centric show and the stuff on the island went nowhere.
I love Caity Lotz and she needs more Black Canary time. The next few episodes have Bronze Tiger, some more Slade and League of Assassins so it should be fine. Last night though? C rated episode.

I love the show but last night's episode was weak. Plus, how is it Oliver can take down a superhuman one week, and then get punked by a beat cop the next. That was annoying.

Just putting it out there, I really believe they will just call him Arrow. I could be wrong but I don't see him taking on the name "Green Arrow". As far as Roy Harper goes, I really believe that they will call him Arsenal.

Maybe they start out with Roy being Red Arrow, so they have to call Oliver Green Arrow to separate the two (the media), then later Roy becomes Arsenal and Oliver just sticks with Green Arrow due to the media. The last 2 episodes were good, but not as good as the 2 dealing with Barry. I know the mid season break is supposed to leave you wanting more, and it did, but to me, it has slowed down a bit since starting back. I was expecting a bit more at the start, then a slow decline, only to build back up by the end of the season, making me want more during the break. That's usually how it works. lol Still, 2 good episodes and I will keep watching and loving this show.

Ok slow down boys...best comic book show on tv is still The Walking Dead.
There are a few inconsistencies the writers need to address. Arrow is a good show though and Amell is really starting to own his character but they need less laurel more canary. Less roy more dark archer. Less island more deathstroke present day.

During that line, I swear that's Roy he's talking to, unmasked. That's a good idea. To have him working closely with Roy and not have Roy be able to see it's Oliver would be retarded.

Deathstroke at the end was the icing on the cake!!! He is a character NOT to be f***ed with!! Loving this show.

S/N Walking Dead is badass and I will hear no bad mouthing of it!!!

@TheBaroness If yesterday's episode was booty, it was great booty lol. At least IMO.

I thought Oliver for sure was going to find out the the truth about Sebastian Blood tonight. This episode was stated to be centered around the Lance family. I know Laurel is not as good as a character as she was, but she is in a bad place right now, so of course she won't be at her best. The writers said that would change. She is being built up to become the second Black Canary.

I though the island was important, because I was having trouble trusting Sara. It seemed like Ivo corrupted her and she was being a double agent, but we find out she is actually on Ollie's side. I agree that the Deathstroke stuff was badass.

I think the Barry Allen episodes spoiled me. They were top notch and this episode seemed weirdly paced. Deathstroke saved the whole thing for me. At first I didn't likle that some beat cop dressed as Blood was able to go toe to toe with Oliver but I think there was dialogue pertaining to why that we all missed because we were watching Deathstroke execute some [frick]ers. I sorely miss Canary. The actress who plays Laurel at times really forces emotion and comes off disingenuous. I really want to see more of Malcoml and Thea storyline. Meh Bronze Tiger next week will put it all back on the high that it was during the Barry Allen arc.

No need to argue over opinions. Both The Walking Dead and Arrow are great shows. I got bored with the Walking Dead though. Zombies are boring to me, so meh. lol Still, the best episodes of Arrow so far are the 2 that involved Barry. Still, the show is awesome and worth watching. Not gonna mention the other show by name, but I still watch that one as well, even as disappointing as it is so far.... I'm a fan of comic book shows/movies, so I will give them all a chance. Hell, I watched every single episode of The Cape and enjoyed bits and pieces of it. lol
