According to E! Online, there was an actual kiss between Stephen Amell's Oliver Queen and Emily Bett Rickards Felicity Smoak in the season 2 finale. However, it was all part of the ploy by Oliver to trick Slade (Manu Bennett)into thinking that Felicity was his true love and not Laurel (Kattie Cassidy). Perhaps the showrunners felt that they should save the first kiss (it's inevitable, right?) for when it actually means something?
Elsewhere, Stephen Amell continues to show off his hardcore parkour training sessions in preparation for season 3.
And the Arrow writing crew are back to work for season 3. The third season is usually when shows make a move to the next level of production and storyline execution or go off the rails and eventually fizzle out. No pressure guys!
