DOUG JONES GUEST STARS AS DC COMICS’ VILLAIN DEATHBOLT — Lance (Paul Blackthorne) continues his mission to take down the Arrow (Stephen Amell) so Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) orders Oliver to keep a low profile. However, when a meta-human named Jake Simmons (guest star Doug Jones), who kills people with blasts of energy and plasma, starts terrorizing Starling City, Oliver is forced to ask Ray (Brandon Routh) for help. The unlikely duo is forced to team up to save the city. Doug Aarniokoski directed the episode with story by Jake Coburn and teleplay by Ben Sokolowski & Brian Ford Sullivan.

I loved some of the bombshells in this episode, but that ending felt really flat to me....

I actually kinda dug this episode. And that's maybe the third time that's happened all season. Hopefully they build off of this. Took some real positive steps to getting the quality level back where it needs to be.

@BlitzHazard yeah the ending was a little flat. Felt like they ran out of time telling the story. Wouldn't be shocked to hear the original cut was 5-15 minutes over the 42 minute restriction. It happens from time to time and you can sometimes just feel it

I loved it all! The Ray story proves they're working towards making the Atom shrink. Just let this season play out. Its all a slow burn...

Not that it's confirmed now, but Ray being injected with the nanotechnology means he could be on his way to having shrinking powers. So *middle finger* to all who figured Ray was just a rip off of Iron Man.

Now I believe the crossover episode with Flash is going to be Ray getting Star Labs to help him make his suit skrink after discovering his new powers... If he gets them, which I'm optimistic that he will.

@Crabnado Tony gave himself the power to call any of his suits to him and control them, a very specific power I doubt Ray could have unintentionally got from his nanotech, which specific function is to shrink his cells. Plus Tony injecting himself with the nanotech was Marvel's way of giving him part of his extremis powers without giving him all of them.

Thought episode was great, Felicity scenes were cute but kind of dragged the main story which was action oriented the entire time.

anybody else think that the Flash going back in time may affect this episode of Arrow? I mean its kind a no turning back situation with Lance and the entire city knowing who the Arrow really is and the only way to go forward is to have everything reset

this was a good episode. Only gripe I have is the whole Shado has a twin sister thing, but we'll probably never see her again so I guess its fine. the manhunt for the Arrow was pretty intense. I would actually put this as 2nd best after the Flash crossover episode.
