"After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the Pacific. When he returns home to Starling City, his devoted mother Moira, much-beloved sister Thea, and best friend Tommy welcome him home, but they sense Oliver has been changed by his ordeal on the island. While Oliver hides the truth about the man he’s become, he desperately wants to make amends for the actions he took as the boy he was. Most particularly, he seeks reconciliation with his former girlfriend, Laurel Lance. As Oliver reconnects with those closest to him, he secretly creates the persona of Arrow – a vigilante – to right the wrongs of his family, fight the ills of society, and restore Starling City to its former glory. By day, Oliver plays the role of a wealthy, carefree and careless philanderer he used to be – flanked by his devoted chauffeur/bodyguard, John Diggle – while carefully concealing the secret identity he turns to under cover of darkness. However, Laurel’s father, Detective Quentin Lance, is determined to arrest the vigilante operating in his city. Meanwhile, Oliver’s own mother, Moira, knows much more about the deadly shipwreck than she has let on – and is more ruthless than he could ever imagine."

Who will be the first to suggest that the title is an allusion to the "you are not alone" scene from MoS finally conecting the TV universe with the cinematic?

I hope the 1st episode starts with Brandon Routh. I want the guy to be a regular. He got a bad rap for Superman Returns.

@0mega

Like an Arrow fan either a massive overgrown beard that's lost tons of weight living in a underground shithole watching every episode obsessively waiting for it to happen.

0mega IKR. It's the indirect sequel to the Great Smallville Disappointment. Lol...

Brandon Routh sucked balls as Superman and that movie was horrendous, but the airplane rescue scene is one of my favorite CBM scenes. They should've just rolled the credits right after that.

Ok,

Let's get this straight

I am going to accept it even though it embarrasses me... I was a fan of Smallville... I thought that was the greatest comicbook show ever!

I know know, I was wrong but I had no way to know it or compare it against. Then Walkind Dead came along and it blew all my expectations from the water...

I then realised how bad Smallville was but still I was thinking that Walking dead was a very different beast so Smallville had a redeeming factor into my eyes...

Then when Arrow was announced I thought "[frick]ing copycats! this show is gonna suck so hard for trying to be Smallville"

Man I was so wrong!
Arrow just showed me how a good CBShow is done!
To me, Arrow and Walking dead are the best Comic Book Tv shows ever, followed by The Incredible Hulk

Yeah!
I felt bad for their fans, Brasil is actually struggling in his economy, there are a lot of people suffering in the poberty and the World Cup was the only entertainment thei had righ now and their team their only hope to see some light among the dark days.

@Doopie

yeah you are right. They lost their only good player... and as you say the team should not play for just one man... sad to see them lose like this but the germans deserve to be in the final.

On the other side of the coin it's gonna be interesting to see if Messi can carry the team on his back... or if Robben and company can make it to the final
