ARROW Season 5, Episode 6 Promo; "So It Begins" - Prometheus Is Finally Unleashed

The CW has released a first look at next week's episode of Arrow, and it appears as if the villainous Prometheus is finally going to step out of the shadows as he goes on a killing spree in Star City.

It's already been made clear that Arrow's version of Prometheus isn't the same one who terrorised the Justice League in the comic books, but the promo below makes it clear that he's finally going to make his presence felt in Star City in a big way next week. Who's beneath the mask? Call me crazy, but my gut tells me it's Tommy Merlyn! What are your theories. As always, share them in the usual place.

When Prometheus ups his killing spree, Oliver (Stephen Amell) searches for connections between the victims. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Curtis (Echo Kellum) discover the victims have a mysterious link to Oliver’s past and this new secret could upend his new team. Meanwhile, Thea (Willa Holland) has a heart-to-heart with Lance (Paul Blackthorne), and Felicity considers telling Malone (guest star Tyler Ritter) the truth about her work. John Behring directed the episode written by Wendy Mericle & Brian Ford Sullivan.

I dropped this show last season because after 3 and 4 I had enough.

Now season 5 is 5 episodes in. Would anyone recommend I pick it back up again, or is it still pretty mediocre?

@MrDandy - I'd just wait for the season to finish before deciding... I mean it is apparently on a good streak, and season 4's early episodes were really good too, but then we saw how that turned out...

Again, I would just wait for the season to end first. Who knows, this series still has a chance of going back to shitting the bed =/

@GAThrawnIGF - I thought the earlier episodes of season 4 were pretty good. Unfortunately it went downhill fairly quickly.

Adrian Chase actor Josh Segarra was credited as appearing in tonight's episode but didn't and he wasn't just credited because he is a series regular because he wasn't credited in the first two episodes of the season.

So I guess they gave away the Big Bad, Adrian Chase has split personalities and is Vigilante and Prometheus. Which means not only did Oliver steal his girl, but either his brother Dorian Chase died in Russia because of Oliver or Konstantin Kovar is his father.
