Fans haven’t seen a live-action version of DC Comics’
Birds of Prey since the short-lived TV show from the early 2000s, but come February of next year, the famous superhero team will make their big screen debut in the film
Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn).
However, it seems their forthcoming appearance on the silver screen hasn’t dampened
Arrow star Katie Cassidy Rodgers’ interest in a new
Birds of Prey series, as she recently revealed that she pitched the idea to The CW network.
"I’ve pitched it," the actress revealed during an interview with
Newsarama.
"I think they should. It’s time for women. Come on, we’ve got this."
While these comments don’t suggest anything official is in the works, stars Cassidy Rodgers, Caity Lotz, Juliana Harkavy, and Emily Bett Rickards recently shared the spotlight for an episode of
Arrow, which saw then form a team that some fans thought was reminiscent of the
Birds of Prey.
But what do you folks think? Are you interested in seeing the DC Comic’s team return to the small screen? To share your thoughts, leave a comment below.
